Yes! That's exactly it!!! I don't post often, but I love the show and read these boards much too much. Twilley stated at the pool with Jason very clearly that he saw a 'friendship connection' with Dee and Jesse, not a romantic one. Are we really to believe that he changed his tune after only a few hours more on the bachelorette set?? He was gone later that same day or the next day. Me thinks the Twilster is a trickster))

I thought Twilley said he did see a connection but he also saw problems or issues with Graham. I don't remember the exact words he used, but that was how I remembered. Maybe I will go watch that part again.

Re: Bachelorette 4 Media thread

I haven't read either of the interviews, but I wonder if maybe Twilley is saying that while on the show he saw things one way with certain guys but nows sees things differenyl from watching the show? I know some of the bachs/ettes on other shows have said things like that in post-show interviews.

Also, we have always suspected that TPTB tell them to say certain things, so maybe he was told to say certain things about Jesse, Jason, Jeremy ans Graham.

Just want to give our friend Twilley the benefit of the doubt.

Twilley might not have wanted Jason to know that that was anything more than friendship between DeAnna and Jesse. I'm wondered if Twilley thought that Jason would somehow try to undermind their relationship. Jason seemed to be more vocal about DeAnna's connection with the other guys. Graham appeared to kept it all in and it was slowing eating at him. jmo

Re: Bachelorette 4 Media thread

He said that he saw a connection between them but that she had a lot of issues with Graham. He also said that Jesse is fun boyfriend material but not husband material and Deanna is looking for a husband. Maybe he has changed his mind now that he has seen the show. While I value the contestants' points of view on what went on behind the scenes and the conversations they had amongst themselves, I would think that it is difficult to truly make judgments as to the relationships that are developing. Much of the actual relationship development occurs on 1 on 1 dates and times when the Bachelorette is away from all of the other men. I will definitely admit to having a Jason bias but much of that came from the ease that I observed on their 1 on 1 date and during their alone time at the mansion, times to which Twilley was not privy. D and J's conversation was pretty intense and didn't really seem comparable in anyway to the extremely awkward conversations between Deanna and himself (in one of the articles Twilley said that it seems that Jason is having the same type of conversations he had with Deanna). I guess we'll see.

The other bachelors had no idea that Trista and Ryan were that close, except maybe Blob. Also, why did the HTD description for Jesse state: "But will she conquer her potential inlaws" and why was "her attempt to win over Jesse's parent nerve wracking?" Why would it be nerve wracking if there's not really a connection there? There's more to it and that's why he's in the F2 and not Jeremy. jmo
If that's the case, and I guess it has as good a chance of being the case as any other scenario, then IMO Jesse is getting the most hidden F1 edit in the entire history of the Bach/ette franchise.

The term "potential inlaws" stood out to me as an advertising ploy---obviously ALL the parents/siblings on ALL the HTDs are potential inlaws---I personally didn't take it as a clue. These statements are just as often intentional misleads as they are clues to the F1. Besides, often the parents who are billed as "difficult to conquer" actually wind up being the nice ones---it's all edited to give the preview as much drama as possible---and of course to fuel the imaginations of us avid board-readers!

Also, ANY attempt to make skeptical parents like you is nervewracking. I always hated meeting boyfriend's parents (and I always found it nervewracking, even if they didn't give me a hard time)---I can't even imagine meeting 4 guys parents in a short span of time and having all the parents know that I was potentially going to devastate their son! I shudder just thinking about it!

All JMHO, of course.

Not true if you didn't care for them. Like I said before, If you don't really care about him, why would meeting his parents be nerve wracking??? I can see it being nerve wracking if you're really trying to impress the parents because you really want them to like you. Other than that, I don't see the need for the nerve wracking unless you really care about the person and you want to be liked. jmo
