TV Ratings for The Bachelorette episode 5

DeAnna Tells All
5.91 million viewers and 1..8/6 in adults 18-49.

6.94 million viewers and 2.5/7 in adults 18-49.

A bit better in the ratings, improving from third place to second, but up against reruns, and a floundering NBC. Next week, now that group dating has ended, ratings should improve even more.

The Mole dropped to 3.89 million viewers.

Although I still haven't seen anything giving an official start date from ABC, it's looking more certain that The Bachelor will return in January, Mondays at 10 p.m. (Probably Jan 5, but could be Jan 12.) That means that the show should be taping starting in October going into November.

DeAnna braves snowy Breckenridge, Colorado to spend some quality time with her most adventurous suitor, Jesse. The daredevil athlete is a patient teacher and DeAnna catches on quickly, maneuvering her snowboard through the soft powder. But will she conquer her potential in-laws as easily as she learned to snowboard? The Bachelorette attempts to win over Jesse's parents at a nerve-wracking dinner, but a long-awaited first kiss during a romantic twilight horse-drawn carriage ride provides a tempting dessert to top off the evening.

Jeremy surprises DeAnna when she arrives in Dallas by showing up on his motorcycle to take her for a ride. Both of his parents have passed away, so instead, he shares an old family photo album with her and reads from his mother's journal, solidifying his emotional bond with her. DeAnna meets Jeremy's brothers and sister-in-law at dinner. However, his brothers immediately see how she has caused Jeremy to let down his guard. They warn her not to break his heart and shockingly line up against her. Once the family leaves, DeAnna and Jeremy have an intimate fireside chat. He lets her know how devoted he is to her and they share a kiss. She realizes just how difficult her upcoming decision will be.

Next DeAnna travels to Seattle, where she must not only win the approval of Jason's parents, but someone even more important: the bachelor's three-year-old son. Her nerves almost get the better of her until she sees the reunion between Jason and his son, which totally melts her heart. DeAnna starts to envision the happy family she could be a part of a few weeks from now. The rest of the family makes her feel even more at home when they prepare an elaborate Greek feast for her. Her comfort level is so high that by the end of her stay, DeAnna questions if she is falling for Jason or his family.

Finally, the Bachelorette travels to Raleigh, North Carolina, to join her charming Southern gentleman, Graham, who is desperate to have her all to himself. The couple go one-on-one on the bachelor's old high school basketball court and share a center court kiss. Graham seems more than willing now to open up and share his feelings with DeAnna. His parents welcome her with open arms. But in a totally unexpected moment, Graham's mother shares an untimely revelation about her son with DeAnna. Will this eye-opening disclosure discourage the Bachelorette from keeping Graham in the race for her heart?

There will be no easy choices left for DeAnna, and now she needs to make the most difficult decision yet. She and the man she sends home are both brought to tears. She is terribly hurt and confused by this elimination, but prepares to go on the fantastic overnight dates in the Bahamas with the three final bachelors, inching closer to her final decision.

Hey Cape - since the FD episode description doesn't mention diving, can we assume that diving is on the LCD? I guess they could have just left it off...Some today were convinced that Jason is the diver (based on a sc of J and D on a boat with what looked like tanks behind them). Has it been determined who the diver is? Because it is looking to me like diving is LCD, and knowing the identity could be more proof.....

Okay, noone probably watches this, unless of course you watch it with your kids.

But I just noticed that on the Teen Choice Awards 2008 this year, The Bachelor: London Calling and The Bachelorette are nominated for a reality tv award. I just thought it would be pretty cool if The Bachelorette or The Bachelor: London Calling won the award! You can even go to the Teen Choice Awards dot com site and vote for them if you'd like.

Chelsea has posted on her myspace that she and the girls from Matt's season are meeting up in LA to attend the MTA filming or at least a party during that time to hang out!!!

Cool that she...Amanda.....Holly....and Nicolle all really hang out. YOu can tell from the convos.

Just thought i would share that...
