DeAnna is edited in a one dimensional way. Through the years we have heard enough about the editing to know that this is a major theme with the producers. Is DeAnna one dimensional? The exit interviews with the Bachelors are depicting her in a different manner. They guys are saying many favorable things about DeAnna.

So, who or which source do you believe? The guys as they give your their exit interviews or the one dimensional interviews?
Post of the day! Thanks Bloomers!

Thanks so much for the link, Mike'sgirl! Fred is a true sweetheart. I noticed at the very beginning Cathy introduced him as an attorney and he was quick to say that he was a teacher. Later he said he was running a summer basketball camp for the kids. He didn't try to play up the "lawyer" label at all, in fact, he rather tore it down and never mentioned it again.

I'm sad he isn't dating yet...well, he is just off the show and, believe me the dates will line up. He also seems to not be adverse to doing a Bachelor show. Is he the first one the entertainment reporters have quizzed about that? Sort of like DeAnna was quizzed even before the first Ellen show she did. He is probably too nice and balanced to be in that situation, though. I don't think I would wish that on him.

Poor guy - his time at the mansion was cut to smithereens and he says they really didn't spend much time with DeAnna at all what with the late night Jesse date and the next day Bar-B-Que. Read his answers to what he thought about the bar-b-que...he really didn't realize the dynamics until he saw the show and the Graham non-kiss. Apparently she had gone into the house one other time, because he said the "second" time she went into the house, she came out crying.

Yahoo reporter says he has many fans over there, and he has many fans here at Fort, as well. Go Fred!

Very Nice, Bloomers! I'm going to go with the Bachelors on this.

I was a Jenni fan last season. I honestly wondered how DeAnna would fair as the Bachelorette at first. I did go into this season with the mindset to give her a chance and take it from there. After watching the show so far, my opinion is that Dee is in this for the right reasons and my thoughts on her changed. I like how she says that she isn't going to lead anyone on. She is being herself and doing this her way and I like that. When she got upset with the guys, I think she had a right to, she's only human. I guess if they didn't like it, it was their option to go home. I guess to sum it all up, I am very happy with Dee as the Bachelorette and I really hope that she has found what she was looking for!

Sounds like an open mind and fair way of approaching assessment to me.

I tried to first and foremost sleuthe that season (B11). I wasn't a fan of Fleiss and Co. going in , and by the time it was over, I wasn't even a fan of Brad's since he didn't bother to even give out the final bloomin' rose to complete the format of the show ( not talking about love or engagement -just the final rose). Quite frankly, I was almost discouraged and disillionsed enough to not even want to sleuthe the next season; however, I too decided to try to approach Matt's season with an open mind toward assessment.

I am neither a DeAnna fan nor a hater but I will say this she was not my favourite of Brad's season. I understand enough about the editing but also believe that parts of her true personality which cannot be hidden completely are being shown.

Which source do I believe? I always remember that there are 3 sides to a story yours, the other person or people involved and the truth. Do I believe that what the guys are saying not totally because I question whether TPTB would allow them to say anything negative against the star of this series or any former stars of this series while it is airing.

When I read this quote one thing came to mind:

Remember the exit interviews last season? Almost all of the exiting bachelorettes made comments indicating Amanda was the front runner. Despite the fact many already knew she was F3.
I guess what I am getting at, it could be possible the men are being fed certain things from TPTB as much as we hate to admit it.

With Fleiss, anything is possible.

Then something about being in the audience for the finale and jaw dropping watching performances.
Interesting.

Interesting.

I was listening to a radio show on Sirius and DeAnna was the guest on the The Bachelorette season premier night. I think the premier was right after DWTS. The hosts, Michael Yo & his partner, commented that she was dressed too nice just for their interview, and apparently she had a lot of jewelry on. The guys asked if she was going anywhere or doing anything because she wouldn't dress up for a radio interview, but DeAnna never said that she was a guest at DWTS.

I knew that DeAnna was probably decked out because she was going to be the guest that night. It was sort of strange that she wouldn't just tell them about the DWTS that night.
