I have a feeling the men didn't invite her to the bbq just to ignore her. Maybe they had reason to act the way they did. I'm going to give these men the benefit of the doubt. Even if Robert knew he didnt stand a chance, and knew who the f2 were at that point, she didn't need to go hunt him up and rid him out like a child....just my opinion.

angelic I'm going one step farther and that is there wasn't an invitation sent out....this is a Fleiss set up event and guess what he got just what he wanted....there is not one thing that happens on this show that Fleiss doesn't have control over. The sad part is the guys got the raw end of the deal for just being guys and if she didn't like it parade her rear end back up to the mansion.

I'm certainly not saying her response was altogether appropriate or mature...just altogether human. It was a temper tantrum surely but I would be hard pressed to say that I have never snapped due to PMS, pressure, hurt feelings, feeling excluded or left out, bad day, etc. I consider myself fairly mature but I have my moments as well, as do most people (thankfully we are not filmed during our less than best moments). Most parents love their children, many wives/ husbands love their partners and both groups, parents and spouses, would likely say that they have had emotional outbursts which would warrant apology at some time or other. I'm not saying Deanna is right or wrong because often times raw human emotion and reactions are what they are- neither right nor wrong, just real.

My primary point is that normal behavior in women on the show is scrutinized in a way in which judgment calls are made and similar behavior by men is excused or at least judged less harshly mainly due to the editing on the show that completely perpetuates stereotypes of male/female behavior (i.e. women as catty and overly emotional and men as "boys being boys"/ male bonders or as flawless fairytale knights right out a Disney movie) and the tendency of females to rip each other apart as if we are part of the animal kingdom.

- refreshing in a way to see something so real, when so much of it is "manufactured" for purposes of telling a story the way Fleiss wants it to be told

Who's jealous of her. THis is all guys on this show. I would venture to say that her beauty has not one thing to do with her not being well liked.

Difference is...Bettina was a gorgeous woman...but she was well liked. That's where the difference lies...its not always JUST about beauty...if they have the personality to match, they are well liked.

I agree angelic. Its hard to find both inner and outer beauty.

Bettina was well liked? By whom? People here on the board. I thought Bettina was not portrayed well at all on the show OR on the WTA. I don't think Bettina is a good example at all of beauty and personality. Deanna wasn't my favorite either.. of the seasons shown, Kelly Jo (Blob's season) was my favorite person. She was nice, helpful, funny, adorable, honest... she had it all and Blob still picked Estella.. I don't get that. In fact, Gwen from season two, Amanda from Byron's season, Sarah B from Charlie's season, Sadie from Lorenzo's season.. They were all much better viewed than Deanna or Bettina.
