I guess I should have clarified it further. I think DeAnna gave them ideas as to what she wanted in a date and then the producers went from there.
Example: She may have said can we have a date where we go to a Ballgame and they looked after it. I know she did not personally get Tommy LaSorda, there.

She did say that before doing the show she wanted more normal dates, that a couple who is dating might do. Now I am sure she did not know everything that was available to her in LA. But I like the idea that they allowed this to happen. I remember before it being said that everything was planned including who you went where with. I am sure they did not give up the entire reins to DeAnna but it is good to see them bending a bit.

Yes....all month on VH1

I got to watch Season One, Alex all the episodes from 6pm-12 last night.

I had never seen his season, and it was neat to see the way things were different. Like the "Rose Cermony", which was Invitation Night, and Chris really repeating over and over that the girls are in control and can refuse the rose, they were seated on couchs and dressed mouch more casually, and I just liked that more. That and there was more time and info in the deliberation room, with video messages from each gal...

For those of you in Canada...if you have Rogers digital cable...go to channel 100 (Rogers on Demand)...and you can watch "The Bachelorette" episodes anytime you want...each episode will be available for the entire week...You can fast forward as well, and no commercials. Right now they have episode 2 available...after tonight, episode 3 will become available. They also have other shows you can watch as well, like "The Hills", "American Gladiators", etc....

Iwas wondering if anyone was going to post about this -- I watched it too -- even tho I have seen every one of the past Bachelors and Baclorette series -- I'm a "little" hooked!!!!! Anyway, I was noticing quite a few changes were made over the years -- I forgot how ABC did the first one with Alex. When they did the 15 to 8 -- I said to myself -- Hold on, that's not right -- forgetting that the first one was a "test" to see if the show would go anywhere with the viewers. I personally don't like the deliberation room where Chris sits down with the bachelor -- that was pretty lame. But they should bring back the video messages.

Sorry...I am confused, what do you mean new occupation? I don't understand where you are coming from with this. All the antics on the show are TPTB instigated and not DeAnna! I realize you despise DeAnna which is fine, she is the Devil Incarnate to some, and she probably could never do anything that would please some, besides perhaps die, (just kidding )...but I am totally confused by what you are meaning here. DeAnna comes across to me, as completely looking for a husband and totally invested in that pursuit....although the same probably can't be said for some of "these poor men" as you can them. Sponsorship deals ring a bell. Thanks

I do not despise DeAnna. I do not like DeAnna as she has portrayed her self on two realty tv shows, I do not know her personally. Confusion over DeAnna reason's for doing this show will be very clear at the end when she pursues her goals of getting into the entertainment business as she has mentioned in past blogs.

To date, nothing has been shown that there is a husband in the ending of this season of ette. There will definitely be a final rose, tptb will make sure of that but beyond that????

If this is TRUE and this is a big IF. This doesn't sound like a person who wants to be a stay at home mommy 24/7 and married to someone who has a nine to five job. JMO

We all have dream jobs - or dream trips - or other dream things - that does not mean that we pursue them - because sometimes other dreams get in the way and priorities change. That could be just that kind of comment.
