And I agree-- from what flyby has written, Jerimey seems like a really great guy and a great catch-- however, the writeup doesn't sound too good.

I do agree that is sounds like she picked someone who she would not normally consider her type...

for all we know that could just mean he doesn't live south of the Mason Dixon line

I don't think it will be bad for Jeremy either. We have to remember that not only did Russ say something similar to Trista but he also brought her a gift. He was edited to be the stalker on the show, so much so, that years later he's still trying to live that image down.

I can't, for the life of me, imagine Jeremy getting that kind of edit. Perhaps they won't even show that comment on the show but it is a clue to the theme for this Bachelorette show

There is another comment that makes me wonder if it is from Jeremy - from one of the write-ups about the upcoming episode - one of the - I guess - kind of goes off on the other guys for not being there for the right reasons - parapharased folks. I immediately thought of Jeremy saying that type of thing

Wow, I actually thought of Jeremy saying that too...which is weird since we don't even know these guys. I hope they don't portray him as stalkerish or obsessive...

The write up leads you to believe it's Jeremy. He is labeled as the "romantic", so it kind of leads you to think it's him.

I can totally see him saying this. We know how protective he is about those he cares about and isn't afraid to stick up for them.

Okay, please keep the tomatoes and rotten eggs to a minimum, but I just want to point out that sometimes we have friends who come on and try to do damage control prior to the season starting. I seem to remember a few people doing that with Matt and look how that turned out.

That being said, I'm going to take these posters at their word, but I still think Jerimey's write-up comes off more as "Russ" than anything else...
