I agree - if she picks nobody - it is because who do you pick? I would pick Chris L. - I think I am into him even more then Kiptyn. But Roberto - he's pretty easy on the eyes too and seems wonderful as well. I hope these two don't suffer because of dufus Frank. I'm with you - my god - I didn't know they had that much chemistry until tonight. In a scene with Roberto where they were in the water she was pulling away from him. Not in this scene with Chris. Her legs are wrapped around him and she is not letting go. Nor would I. Sigh....I can't believe this is not it.
Will we ever - just once - get the true love story. I just can't see how any girl would not pick this guy. Is she nuts?
Chris and Ali don't need to lap eachother up like dogs...they were intimate..just on a different and IMO much more deeper level. Anyone can have lust for someone..but to connect with someone emotionally, intellectually, physically and through humor is so much more. Chris referred to Ali as his soulmate and that he LOVES her. He spoke of the future they will have and his hopes for them. I take that over watching Ali take off someone shirt any day of the week. Not to mention, Ali herself said that all the qualities in marriage she wants..Chris and her have.
Chris's edit is 100% setting him up as next bachelor - of the hours upon hours of footage they have for C&R when it comes down to edits, they pull what they want to show and the emotions they want to evoke from the viewer. Almost every single viewer is being pulled into the "Chris is the perfect choice for her".
For everything we see, there is so much we dont' see, and what we do see is chopped up, edited and scored to get the greatest bang for their buck.
If Chris wants to be the next bachelor - the job is his.
From what I saw yesterday:
1. I think Frank was really upset. I do not like the guy but body language says so to me. It remains he was an a*** to wait the FD to do it and he could have handle it much better and much sooner. But since we were not the one in this position, it is hard to judge or easy to judge from the outside. When we are in a middle of a crisis, it is never easy to have a clear mind.
2. I think Ali is really into Roberto. When she removed his shirt, it was so hot and she could not wait to be intimate as soon as he said he was falling in love with her.
3. I was surprised the connexion with Chris. I saw for the first time some chemistry there. I noticed that she did not kiss him deeply though (not sure she appreciates the way he does... still body language). But she did give him tons of small kisses.
4. Nothing spetacular regarding Tahiti visits. A chopper and a boat? I would have expect screwdiving at least and some ski or else... picnic on beach? swimming? Hope they did more outside the camera though
5. With Roberto it was mentionned that the isle was heart shape. They were extremely closed, touching, kissing, looking at each other. It look very much like honeymoon to me. Did you noticed that ali was more tanned with Roberto and not that much at the rose ceremony?????? mmmm was it before or after the finale??? wonder....
6. With Chris it was small kisses all along too. But she said something very clear: I was raised and lived in cape code, I am gone and thought that I would never return (not exact words but the meaning is here). She then thought she may have been harsh and complimented him about his family and especially his dad. He then tried to reinsure her saying that he could move anywhere as long as they have 4 visits per year. She said she knew that and agreed. If I compare, they close the curtains but there is no physical. Did they do the deal or not? not sure at that point. If I follow Cash I would say no but I saw a lot of kisses there so.... maybe?
So with Chris it is security and family ... a cute life and with Roberto it is career orienting, fun and family too... The hometown with Roberto did seal the deal for her as she saw that Roberto wanted truly to build a family.
7. Frank. Yeah, she was into him and he was indeed F2 or maybe F1 depending their tahiti journey. In my mind she was just waiting frank to say he loved her and get rid of her insecurities. She was indeed upset but... CH was pointing her if she was upset because she thought frank was the one or because of the situation?
8. The way ali explained to the guys Frank's departure... me thinking she had people behind her to tell her what she needed to say. They are very good for scripts!!! I am also pretty sure that she was not left alone in her room like it is said. There is a HUGE team behind the camera and I am 100% convinced that Fleiss would NEVER EVER geopardize his grand finale!!! com'on!
9. To end in a cute note, ali was shaking when she gave Roberto the rose AND she did hesitated before saying Chris name first... again I see the people behind the scene reminding her to make sure to not make it too obvious that Roberto is the one.

About the Fantasy Suite Cards - that just seemed unbelievable to me that the producers were able to find TWO decent guys who did not know about the Fantasy Suite. Granted these two guys might have never watched the show before signing up, but come on.
Everything about Frank and Nicole was scripted. It was like watching a screenplay that he wrote with him casting himself as the lead. The producers may have really jumped the shark this time. It will be interesting to hear what the unspoiled viewers are saying about this. I am betting that they aren't buying any of this, but I have to say that Chris Harrison did his part quite well. How does he sleep at night? UGH.
I agree. It was intimate and affectionate and hot, which is basically what Ali said. She also said they were making up for lost time in terms of romance so there's obviously a lot we didn't see especially in the catamaran.
Funny that a lot of us didn't think it was Chris who said he could spend forever with Ali, and it was him, just in a different tone. I thought that was so sweet, as was the God, I love you. It just seemed so real and unscripted. I think Ali was completely into him and even though it has taken time (if 5 or 6 weeks is considered slow!) I have seen the most progress on both ends from Ali and Chris. Them walking out of the water together was as romantic as it gets imo.
Also, just a note, some of the PIs about Chris' mom on this date sounded like VOs that we've heard earlier in the season. Not surprised at Fleiss the splice and dice magician.
I loved Roberto's date as well. I do see him as receiving a F2 edit because they talk about how hot and cute each other are all the time, but he seems way more into Ali than I think most F2s typically are into the lead. They definitely have the heat and maybe that could turn into something more, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Overall, I thought their date was just so cute.
As far as Frank, I'm not even mad at him. Ali is acting so very hurt and she probably is, although maybe embarrassed more than hurt, but she did a similar thing to Jake. Even if she left for her job, she still went really far in the process, knowing she was a front runner and then bolted. I think leaving for work as I defended Ali and Ed, and leaving because you're in love with someone else or if you just plain want to go home is okay. Fine by me. This show has a horrible track record, and at least Frank knew what he was getting with Nicole instead of being one of a bunch.
Looking ahead, was it Frank or what he did is the question that CH asked, and it's the question that Ali didn't really answer. She ultimately said Frank wasn't the guy for her but I still felt like she was a little evasive about it. I didn't see how DeAnna could have moved on so soon after she had an emotional breakdown when Graham left. We saw how Jillian was out of it, said she almost set something on fire (or something like that) when Ed left, and whether Frank was F1 or not, this has taken such an emotional toll that I don't see how you turn around in 3 days or 7 days and accept a marriage proposal.
