I'm not going to kid myself, if Chris is the Bachelor he will pick some young hottie with rocks in her head and Hollywood stars in her eyes. I can almost count on it. If she's a pro cheerleader or swimsuit model then her chances go up. If you think he's going to pick a nice girl next door type with brains who wants to be a receptionist for the family biz in Cape Cod (thanks to whoever came up with that, it made me LOL) then you're going to be really upset with him.

I'm saying this as a big Chris fan, he's my favorite, but he's a dude. Jason let his inner teenage boy pick his F1, I'm not going to assume Chris will do any better. Of course I will be THRILLED if I'm wrong and he surprises me (by knocking on my front door, I'm over here Chris!!!), but I'm cynical about these things.

Agree with the bolded completely and totally. This was my fear with Reid too- that if he was TB, he'd disappoint me so much by choosing some skanky model over the nice, normal women.

Chris is going to choose whoever is the most sexy, aggressive and pursues him the hardest. Oh well, I'm sure F2 is going to be adorable, sweet, and perfect- the one we are all going to fall in love with; of course, I'll always be able to console myself with the knowledge that she'll inevitably be Tbette Summer 2011.

I don't know. Jason chose Molly, and although she was younger and I didn't like her personality much, she wasn't a bimbo. She seems smart and normal. He also chose Mel, who despite being a cheerleader was also a lovely girl. I think he'll go for young and hot but hopefully nice too.

Isn't it kind of odd we haven't heard from any of Chris L or Roberto's ex girlfriends? I would assume the tabloids would be looking into the F2's backgrounds for any dirt.

I have thought about this and I think it is a very good sign thier ex's have not been paid to blab about thier sex life (or lack of one) ,spill about secrets, and complain about not being loved enough. Now that could all change one day and I would not be surprised by it. However, I think it says a lot about them and the way they treat the women in thier life. JMO

Did either of them ever have a long-term g/f? At Chris's age was he never engaged? Did either them ever have a live-in sweetheart? Do we know anything about their dating past at all? Our lack of knowledge seems a bit odd to me or maybe I just missed it.

I can't remember if CL said he hadn't dated recently. I don't know if he shared that but my feeling is this was his foray back into the dating world. I know Kirk said he hadn't in a year but he'd been sick. I can't recall her talking about it with any of the other F5 either. Maybe we hear something this week from Frank and Ty on their 1-1 dates. She also could have asked and discussed it with them but it got edited out.

Wasn't there a Bachelorette that had it written in their contract that she would be allowed to talk to her parents whenever she wanted? I could see Chris doing the same thing.
