All I know is that if it isn't an Ali and Chris ending.... I'm not going to like it!! don't care if she made the right decision for her or if she's still in love with Frank **gag** or blah blah blah is her reason. I make no bones about watching to hopefully someday get the ending I'll be satisfied with .. and if she's not with Chris... I'm not satisfied. Another season down the drain for me getting used to that, unfortunately

Anyway, I have trouble believing that Ali and Roberto aren't going to try and at least pretend to date on the ATFR. She probably told him she's too messed up to get engaged at the moment but maybe they can try after the show? That seems like the most logical conclusion to me. She just really, really likes him so I have trouble believing she wouldn't even attempt to date him in the real world.

Also, I have to be honest and say I'm not surprised she didn't choose CL. I knew from the moment they showed them on that bed and she wasn't on top of him that there was no way he was the F1. I wanted to believe he was because I liked him so much for her but if Ali is into a guy, we know about it. And she's really into Roberto so I'm confused.

In any case, I hope Ali doesn't regret her decisions with Chris. I'm really hoping she didn't think "oh well, I'm 25, he's really nice but there's someone better out-there" because I think she'll be hard-pressed to find someone better. All the best to her though. She's a total cutie and I hope she finds the total package- Jen did, Melissa did, and I hope Ali will too

How long is Roberto's training for? And is his license/agency/whatever tied to South Carolina when it is complete? I wonder if they didn't decide to put a relationship on hold until it is complete. But, it would have to be brought up in his storyline, which it hasn't really been yet.

I don't think Ali noticed Chris quickly enough. I think she had the hots for Roberto but an emotional connection with mall employee Frank. Too bad cause Chris would have been the first one I noticed. 6' 3" ,crooked grin, witty and loving. What's not to like?

I really think so too. She really likes him. Maybe they just decided to pause and then see if they can work it out? I just can't imagine her letting him go that easily. All she wants is to hang out in his arms and whine that she's scared and upset so he can hold her. Seriously.

We all know that CL wasn't on the plane to LA to see Ali. It seems a little early to start negotiations for the next Bach but I don't know why else he would be going to LA.

good question! also - both R and A aren't really financially stable to mount a move across the countinent for eachother yet (Ali isn't on a payroll right now despite the thousands she earned on the show I guess and while rob has a new business its still not off the ground)...so I really think they're just figuring it out right now!

The thing about her choosing Roberto - yes, he seems very nice, a gentleman, kind etc. And he's apparently "hot" ! But I haven't seen his sense of humor at all (and I haven't seen that he is that into Ali - going throught the motions at this point in time). Chris is a little uneasy with himself - but he is funny - love the line about everyone else can pick up their parting gifts and leave ... I can accept that she doesn't fall in love with Chris - but I am not really seeing Roberto's draw - considering what she has said she wanted. Maybe the quiet confident reassurance - low key etc - but sense of humor I am not seeing - yet.

ITA with you on these points. I never did see the romantic connection with CL, although I thought him a terrific guy. I was always surprised that not more people seemed to see the genuine connection she and Roberto had.

Having said that, and believing that she did choose Roberto as F1, I also have trouble believing that they have broken up already?!? Wouldn't they want to give it some sort of shot given that they did seem to have a connection. Even if she IS a media seeker, thsi would only help her chances of staying in a positive light.

So, in keeping the hope alive for some sort of less than depressing ending, maybe they have agreed to settle down while the show is on and get together at a future point (AFRC) to determine where to go next?!?!?!
