I have known it to be similar to that only after you drink the beer you set the cup on the edge of the table upside down and try to flip the cup over to stand right side up with only one finger. It is usually played with more than two people though. The next person on your team can not start to drink until you have successfully flipped your cup to be standing right side up. The team that finishes first wins.

That's the game I was thinking of when I heard they played Flip Cup. It's definitely a college drinking game, but a fun one at that.

I may have quoted someone to make my post, but I didn't post that. I have no idea what a "slip cup" is.
Sounding just like the (Fort) old Fogey that I am, my idea of a good time is not hanging out a bar.

Maybe it was Cash who said Chris and Ali were playing "flip cup" at the RC instead of you. I had never heard that term before. I'm with you, I'm an ole fogey too and do not hang out at bars either. Where's my knitting basket?

About my 'creepy Chris' comment... I didn't mean that Chris himself was creepy. I meant that everything looks like it's pointing straight to him as F1. And that is 'strange/creepy' to me, because on paper the guys is perfect for her. They have a similar background, upbringing, education, interests, he fits the 'older guy' thing for her, the recent loss of a close family member, and he's got the dorky good looks that she loves in a guy. He's PERFECT for her in every way on paper. How weird is that if she actually did choose him? Since when does the lead pick the person who is actually going to be GOOD for them LOL.

Ali and Chris seem like they'd be on the same page on a lot of things. I remember back when I first found her FB page, before it went super private, she had a ton of videos of her and her 'crew' playing drinking games. From her twitter it sounded like it was like a weekly thing or something. Now to hear that she and Chris played flip cup at a RC... that just cracks me up and makes me think that this guy is beyond words the guy for her.

I'm not saying she DID choose him, I'm just saying that all signs right now point to Chris. With the exception of CH's recent comments, but that could be a cover. Roberto is all over the previews, Chris is hardly anywhere. Roberto was on the ABC homepage, a classic sign of the F2. Roberto will probably get the physical edit from the sounds of the summary of the first episode, another sign of a Bachelorette F2.

I haven't kept up too well with the boards lately. Can somebody tell me who the '5 to watch' were? I know Frank, Chris, Jonathan... who else and what did they say about him?

I just thought it was cute that they played that at a RC. Because it's so not an 'elegant' thing. It's a drinking game. And Ali is very much that type of girl. I thought I remember seeing videos of her and her friends playing, but I went back and looked at her FB and those videos aren't there anymore. I thought it was hilarious/adorable that she played that with Chris (and maybe more guys, too, since it's more fun that way).

Just a thought - but as quite a few of you have mentioned - perhaps because of the issues with Justin (1st) and Frank (2nd) - along with
Ali's supposed insecurities - making the final call at the FRC - is a difficult one because she may not be sure (within herself) that the personalities/make-up
of her F-1 & F-2 are 100% accurate - could they be pulling a "game" with her as the others supposedly did. That may be why the final decision was
difficult for her - not because she didn't have sincere feelings for her F-1, but because she was nervous about her thought process throughout - being
so wrong about Justin and especially Frank's character.

That certainly seems to be the jist of everything CH has said so far. I think this will be Ali's storyline all season long, and eventually her big victory in the end, overcoming this fear.
