Just curious..
If on Monday reid comes back to see Jill,and tells her how he feels ,expressed his emotions and opens up and she still rejects him "knowing " how he felt but it didn't make a difference in the end any way..what then? Would you believe that maybe her feelings for Reid were not as strong as they "maybe" edited them to be..for added interest in his story.

Would you believe that she was in love with Ed all along and it really didn't matter if Reid told her or opened up because her heart was already with Ed.

Or will you think he still needed more time and it would have made a difference some how ?

If Ed was her true love all along, why would she do that to Reid? We never saw her push Kip that way, even though he wasn't saying ILY either.

Crazy thought but maybe Kip was the one that she wanted to give more time to see if he'd say ILY and offer a commitment - which it is looking like he does.

I want it to be about Reid but if you watch the preview on Grapevine she is saying "I don't know how my heart is going to be able to hold up when I have to put one guy in that car and send him home knowing that I am crazy about him." Its the same scene when she says the quote you mention. I imagine that its about the F2 not Reid. Usless its after she has sent Kip home but I doubt it. She is in her Fairmount Suite so I think it is before the FRC.

But couldn't those statements have been filmed before Reid comes back? So before Jillian would know she's going to have to send 2 guys packing, not just 1?

I'm sure that he could have found a nice little baubble in Hawaii. The information from LisaMill36 basically tells me that Reid coming back was NOT something preplanned on the part of tptb. IF that had been the case they just would have stashed him away on the islands someplace, imo.

My question is:

WHAT HAPPENED for them to decide to coerce/allow Reid to come back? I think something did. Also: What was the risk vs. the reward for this decision. I can't believe that this was done w/o consideration to the outcome.

Now that is the $64,000 question.

she didn't have to push Kip - they talked about proposal on the HTD, then in Spain he told her about his convo with his sister- he, at least, has been communicating with her without her having to prod him. She probably doesn't like the responses, but she's not having to drag them out of him. She does know where she stands with Kip. She didn't know where she stood with Reid.

Are we being bamboozled here? sdl's sources say "no love connection" this season. Yet Jillian is going around the circuit saying she loved all f3 but was only "in love" with one of f3. So why is this starting to sound more like Deannnnna's break up with Jesse "I love you but I am not IN LOVE with you".

seeker, I'm still going with what I told Alanna yesterday. I'll never believe the producers would recognize a love story it if it bit them on their arses. I just think it didn't play out with whomever THEY wanted.

I could be as simple as: Maybe TPTB just wanted to switch the format up to keep up the suspense, confuse and create drama all to keep people watching till the very end.

I'm shifting into optimistic mode today for some reason. Maybe it is because I've been defending the screen caps as to who comes first and second; and then remembering that I argued until Finale Day that Bevin came last because of sunset caps. Here we are still relying mainly on sun height in the limos and on the podium to declare Ed as the F1. What if I am as wrong about this as I was about Bevin? Boggles the mind, I know.

Oh well, there are still the photo date and time stamps...though I read those can be altered...so the question there is why would they bother?

I agree. Kip first in limo, Ed second in limo, BUT I don't agree that it makes Ed F1. Geez, I wish this season would END! I'm supposed to be cleaning and getting stuff pulled together for vacation. We leave next Friday, and there's NO way I'm going to have everybody ready because of my addiction to this show. Argh!

This doesn't quite make sense to me. Yes, she knew where she stood with Kip to that point; no proposal, no ILY. In essence, Reid's non-answer offered pretty much the same, although there was still hope for more. Why was Kip's deal the better one then, unless she cared less about what Kip was offering, and so would avoid being more hurt if she didn't ultimately get what she wanted?
