Remermber the tweet from Kip a couple of weeks ago that said "I'm permanently happy" her word "permagrin"...could be something there...so much a sweeter choice than Ed IMO!!

Well that does make it seem like it would be Kip making the shocking confession. Ed already told her he loves her and wants to propose. Kip said a proposal would be premature. Maybe he tells her he's had a change of heart and a proposal would NOT be premature because now he knows he's completely in love with her??

Could also be Ed deciding he doesn't want to propose just yet if it's all about changing.

Ed and Kip may have had a 1-1 date earlier on in the season but throughout the season Reid has been the narrator of the season, which is usually a role that f1 plays. He was barely seen on epi 1 which aired before finale was filmed. But starting epi 2 we saw chats between Reid and Jillian. Their story had a slow start but steadily moved along which fits Reid's concern about things moving too fast.

I still go back to some bits of convos., PI and VO which tell the story this season. Some of them came earlier since epi 2 (after finale was filmed) and were intentionally left in there in the edit. The reason we didn't see the chat on epi 1 with Reid was bec' at that time he was f3 and been sent home. The edit had Ed and Kip as f2 therefore their chats made it on the airing of the premier episode. But we know she had a chat with Reid on preview night based on SC.

The bits that stand out to me are

Taurus and Capricorn are a match made in heaven
Hang in there
Just trust me
I am head over heels for Reid
I fell hard for Reid and his family
I want to give her a hug to let her know I will try to take care of her son
I am confident in my relationship with Jillian, if I didn't have that, I'd have nothing
When I think of my future fiance/husband the first thing that comes to mind is someone who makes me laugh and that's Reid to a "T"
I want him to hold my hand and tell me I am not ready for a proposal, I am not ready for marriage, but I know I don't want to lose you, and he is not ready to do that YET

Usually I am ready to let the guy go when I let them go. I was not ready to let Reid go.

Let's not forget CH's twitter to a question from someone about Ed's gf - he said something about watch next week, it comes in the finale (not exact words)

Any more I overlooked please add. I don't believe Fleiss will put all this into the storyline and lead it to Ed or Kip as f1, IMO. Even he will show a story that makes sense however "twisted" the path.

Great post! I also loved how she said she could throw away her list if she found that connection with someone...she feels differently with Reid than with anyone else..he's on her level. I just can't believe this would lead to Ed or Kipton as F1 either...

Why would Fleiss suddenly throw Reid under the bus when he and Kip have been given a good edit? Ed's went downhill since Spain. CH is also hinting at something about Ed's gf question in his twitter yesterday, wonder what that's about? Is that the change of heart or confession bit?

I don't think MF cares who or when he throws someone under the bus.

I would agree, except the press release for the atfr says "two spurned bachelors return" to confront Jillian. If one of these two bowed out or had a change of heart to not be with Jillian, then why would they both be spurned?

I think change of heart in this case could just as easily be something good...whether it's Reid or Kip.

the change of heart could come before the FRC, and Jillian is able to talk him through it (IDK) it could be something like Ed leaving her at the FRC podium after she picks him and is leaving, but he's halfway out of there and he turns around and 'returns' again.....who knows - I'm grasping too. putting the press released together with the twist in the last 5 minutes is making this season finale interesting.

People can get very creative in their wording when trying not to hurt somebody's feelings - if she really felt something more for him than she did for Kip and Ed, she would have taken a chance and kept him around longer IMO

I am curious, so how would we analyze it if in fact she ends up choosing Reid as f1. It is still a possibility however slim at this point. Ed and Kip may be the black or white choices she has going into FRC but Reid could be the gray she could go for. As long as she doesn't let a guy propose (Deannnnna style)and kicks him curbside or picks one and changes her mind upon Reid's return (Jason's style) she as the primary star of the show can still take the time and figure out where her heart really is at. She is the one who has to live with her choice in the real world. We are just spectators for a while. JMO!

I don't see that as throwing someobody under the bus (personally I think that is an over used phrase on the board as it's usually taken out of context of what it really means) that phrase, for the most part means, to use as a scapegoat or to put the blame on somebody else. A good example was Jason, it was Fleiss's bright idea to break up on national television but Fleiss never took the "credit" but let the media crucify Jason and Molly and sat back and laughed as he was satisfied with the ratings.

If Fleiss used Reid that's another story. If talking him into returning for the ratings worked, Fleiss considers that a victory but he couldn't care less if he embarrasses somebody in the process but IMO that's not throwing somebody under the bus.... it's just business, unfortuenately to Fleiss and Co.

You're a brave one, seeker. Whenever I've tried to figure Fleiss out, my brain expodes. I'm getting to the point where the only "shocker" for me is if this seasons actually ends.

Different topic: I kept laughing every time Jake called Jillian an innocent angel who needs a good man to protect her. I wonder if he feels MF led her like a lamb to the slaughter. No slam on Jillian. I still like her, even if I do get frustrated with some of her decisions. I think she went into this thinking she could out-maneuver TPTB, and found she couldn't.

Yeah, but did you see her face when they were on the goodbye bench and he was saying he should have told her sooner and given her more signs? She was about to cry! It was like "oh my God, did I make a mistake?" kind of expression, IMO. I totally get what you're saying about people getting creative in their wording when trying not to hurt someone, and I saw her do that several times (Jake, for example), but I don't think she did it with Reid. I think she was sincere when she said she was afraid to take that chance and she just couldn't see how it was supposed to work after the show. Reid hadn't given her strong enough indication that he would commit to her, so she let him go for that very reason that she stated. At least that's how I see it!

ITA. And if we can believe anyone's reasoning, we should try to trust Jillian's... w/o coming up with other explanations that suit our hopes better. No offense to anyone. I just prefer to take what Jillian said at face value rather than trying to say she meant something else than what she actually said. What she actually said was there wasn't a strong enough indication he'd commit to her, so that's what I'll choose to believe
