The hugging SC suit has been altered as well. There is a clear SC where the edges of the shoulder look "messy" and you can tell that they have changed the color of the suit. So in other words it is not even clear that it is truly a brown suit on the guy that Jillian is hugging.

As far as height goes for each of the guys, Wes and Ed are pretty much the same height. Kip and Reid are also pretty much the same height. I have put up a SC before of the F3 guys in casual dress (jeans, etc) and you can see that Kip may be just a hair taller than Reid. I have also put up a SC before of the F4 guys and Wes and Ed were the same height in their RC outfits.

Sorry if this topic has been posted before but here it is. Jillian was interviewed by TVGuide on 6-11-09 and here are two interesting data points.

She said that Wes is her type but it'snot the bad boy side of him that she likes –but somebody who likes to camp and sing, and wants to have a family, is creative and talented, but also someone who will treat her like a queen.

Then TV Guide asked her if washboard was a pre-requisite. She replied that
actually, she does not like washboard abs. She likes a guy with a little bit of chub. She concentrates more on someone's personality, onen who has a zest for life, lot of love to give, and someone that will get along with his family and friends.

I've been looking at the hotel railing and also checked to see if I could find out what the standard height requirement would be for them - from what I can tell that would be 42" which is 3 1/2 feet. I'd say that blue suit guy is a shorter man than Ed. I've always thought that guy is Kip - height, hands, watch, slim legs, jacket bottom looks to be a 3 button (which is what Kip always wears) not a 2 button one, and the shoe style. I've already planted my flag that it's him at sunset ( bright reflection at rear of sc) on his way to be F1 at the FRC and I'm sticking to it

Epi 2-4 were exhausting to watch with the drama getting sillier and nastier at the house. Is this the best the screen writers could come up with. They should've consulted or hired a soap opera writer, we would have had some real mystery about relationships at the house.

This season we've seen revolving doors with Jake and Ed. Now people are expecting almost anyone else who was let go in the last few episodes coming back.

Maybe it's Bilbro coming to see if Jillian's finally realized the remaining guys never made it to the top of the "Bilbro scale."

Two more nights to go then Wes goes as well. His script gave him a role -- very flat personality. How can Jillian say he is her type, we have never seen the guy laugh on the show, just an odd smile a couple of times. Does that sound like a man who would make her laugh.

I think all her talk about liking Wes would go okay if Reid was her f1 bec' he was the one who teased her about Wes being the one like Vincent, her first crush. Another scripted piece? The PTB got lucky that they didn't have to write the script for Reid (since he signed on two days before filming started). He was a freebie they got for the comedic role. I can't imagine any writer coming up with some of his quick wit to fit the rest of their script. He is the real Chandler Bing at times.

I have always thought that was Kip as well. I just completed a commercial design project and I know that commerical signage (room numbers, directional signs, etc) are placed at a certain height on the wall per codes. I agree that the guy in the doorway looks like Ed but when I look at the room number placement I have a difficult time with that being Ed. How tall is Ed?

Yes, I agree it was Ed. At first I thought it was Kip but when i took another screen cap I saw the guy's hair resembling Ed's. The screen cap showing him walking, I think, would later put him to the next scene showing that guy in that doorway prompting me to conclude that the 'obscured' guy was Ed, not Kip.

When I saw his stride and the speed of that stride ... i thought whoever this guy was ... he was the same guy that was shown in the next scene _ the obscured guy in the doorway. Was he about to see Jillian for something? My impression, maybe? However, his stride struck me as rather too fast ... urgent and purposeful making me think that somehow whatever this guy meant to accomplish it had something to do with what ABC was describing as 'surprising proposal'. This is a crazy theory but I think someone or others became involved or were present during the proposal ....

I believe the guy who proposed was Ed. Kip would propose, but I doubt, given his mindset and personality, I could not see him doing something extra-ordinary or unusually 'unexpected'. Notwithstanding, I think, he was the guy who said to Jillian _"I love you more than anything in this world" (something like that _ similar to Michael's parting declaration). And Ed? he came back and and promised to be 'transparent'. He had the time to think about the situation and, I believe, came back determined ... decisive. He had lost precious time so he would try to make up for the lost time.

I believe he is 6'2". I would say Wes is a shade shorter, maybe 6'1'', and Kip and Reid are about 5'9". Kip sometimes wears shoes with a slight heel, while Reid wears very flat shoes or sneakers, so Reid might be a shade taller.

The suit may have been altered but they can't alter the height of the guy. That is def. NOT Ed. I think it is Kip but it wouldn't surprise me if it is Reid either. Whoever it is, they are f2 not f1 JMO

Look at the hands of the blue suit walking. Compare them to the hands of Ed walking out of the Whistler hotel. Bingo. It's a match.

Ed's hand is a little different in how the thumb joins the hand. There's a sc from Ed and Jillian's chat last week that really shows it. His little finger also kind of sticks out a bit. Anyone want to pull up the three sc's to compare?
