And it clearly shows that he says "girlfriend" and then changes it to "ex-girlfriend". Wonder how Wes is going to blame that one on editing?

That was my thought....also when Jillian says "all day you didn't kiss me" and his comment was like "ya, so".....I think she does walk him out to the taxi in Barcelona.....

Unfortunately she doesn't send him home then, we have SCs of that Spain RC. I think that she definately calls it a night after dinner though. No dessert, no back to the hotel to talk, just get in the cab and stay on your side away from me. Wes clearly didn't bother dressing up much for that RC either. Heck I hope that she just gives out the roses and then ignores Wes when it's time for him to leave.

The screen shots of Wes, while this time you hear and see him say girlfriend, still look spliced and manipulated to me. As if they took a shot of him when he was saying "I don't have a girlfriend" and put just the "girlfriend" part into that scene.

4health ~ I went back to listen to the conversation between Wes and Jillian and wrote down exactly what each said. I do not like Wes and think that he is playing a game with Jillian however he didn't say "yea, so". This is what was said:
Jillian "But all day today if you really were crazy about me then you would have come up to me and you would have kissed me at least once today and you never......."
Wes "I understand."

ZG Champion ~ I responded to this in the media thread. I will respond here as well since I did bring it up here also. It is in the second sneak peek that we see Wes' face during the girlfriend comment. Wes says "my girlfriend" while we see him scratching the side of his nose and then using the same hand to emphasize. There is no split in the scene at all. It is completely seamless.

This fits with what Jake is saying in an interview (see media thread) about Wes agreeing with his real life girlfriend that he may kiss Jillian but may not spend overnight dates with her. Wes might not have wanted to be invited hence his behavior during the day.

Obviously this is ONLY speculation and we don't know yet who speaks the truth: Wes or Jake. Just saying that it fits Jake's story (for Wes fans out there: I truly believe he is getting the worst edit ever).

Yes, I'm talking about the new one as well and I disagree. It seems like they spliced him saying the word girlfriend in from another scene. This time you do see him say it, but I'm not convinced it was said during this conversation. We'll just have to disagree! I do agree his response to her questioning his not kissing her was basically to agree...which is why I think it's indicative of him not wanting to lead her on at this point when he knew, and the producers knew, he was leaving at F4 in Spain.

A lot of what you write makes sense. I thought Ed's parents would come out at F2 and he proposes but before that makes even more sense as he will want to be sure he gets to F2.

I think Kip will be F2. I really think that's his storyline. Finally gets his heart broken and goes on to be the new bachelor next season to mend his heart and find true love. I don't think his overly into Jill either and Wes is more into his guitar. lol

I also agree that she will go with whoever she thinks will propose and who is most in love with her because she is desperate to make this work. She is even going to question in regards to proposals this week so she's definitely feeling that out. She's too insecure about Kip so it will have to be Ed or Reid.
