this is probably what Jillian means when she says how "at the end, i had my head on straight"...that by the F3, the bachelors remaining are the ones who are there for Jillian and have her best interests at heart.

im with Team Ed...but id be happy if she ended up with one of those three, for sure.

Ok... I have gone over the guy in the bed SC, the ziplining SC and the boat SC...

Is it possible the guy on the bed is neither Kip OR Ed? Jamsel noted a shirt on the floor by the bed, and it is an oatmeal colored shirt, if that indeed is what it is. Kip's shirt is darker, almost green and his shorts are lighter than the shorts of the bed guy. Plus, Ed is wearing a blue tank top. There is a lot of body analysis going on, and the midsection doesn't scream Ed to me at all. If Reid is the 3rd in Hawaii, maybe its him? There are also speculations about Wes. Near the top of the picture, where a head should be, there seems to be dark spots, which might be Wes' hair? JMO

Yes but he was getting attention here right from the start and they didn't even show his 1 on 1 time in epi 1 and he didn't get to go on a date in epi 2. I wouldn't have paid any attention to him at all if I didn't know he was in Spain from the season preview.

I would be more inclined to believe that he has a shot at f1 if it weren't for those ultra tame SC's in Spain. If they're trying to hide him as a contender, they're doing too good of a job. Maybe his 1 on 1 date will change all that but question the editing to date.

I get the feeling that the producers didn't go through the trouble of setting up Ed's departure for him to end up being F3 - I expect him to be in the F2, but won't be F1.

Kip is getting set up to be the next bachelor, so I expect Reid to be F1. None of the edits have been clean, but just reading Reid and Jillians date is a huge indicator that the best date was saved for him.

I've heard in other posts that Reid has been back in the real world for some time now. And not Ed. He's not been heard from. But someone did think they spotted him in Canada a few days ago. Who knows? But the fact that Ed wasn't available for interviews after this last episode due to "work" -- seems to indicate to me that he's F1. I hope so.

I think the general audience is not going to be happy if she chooses Reid unless they showcase him a LOT in ALL of the next episodes. No one knows him and all of the people that I know who watch, don't find him attractive. I like him, but I just don't see how he stands a chance. Maybe that will change after tomorrow. I just don't know why they've ignored him so long.

the ignoring seems deliberate. IMO we should be able to tell over the next couple of episodes whether it's going to be Reid or not, bc Jillian made a comment in an interview an episode or so ago, that the F1 had not yet been showcased, but that we'd have to wait a little longer to really see him. That's why some people were thinking of Jesse as the F1, but it also might mean that Reid starts to get air time.

They will not allow Ed to do interviews because it would be way too easy to let it slip that he's coming back. Right now no one is supposed to know that he makes a reappearance.

I can see how that may be true. But then why have we had word that Reid has been back in the real world since late May (according to the Sleuther's thread, I think) -- and still no word from Ed?

It doesn't really mean anything. The only way we know that Kip and Reid have been around is because they both are on Twitter and Reid has been on his FB account. Ed (from what I can gather) does not have either, hence we do not know what he has been up to.
