Because they sign confidentiality clauses, too.
I have called many places and if they think you are asking questions directly related to the show, you will usually get a "negative" response. The only time I have ever gotten "positive" info is when I have been sneaky and go through a secret back door.
After the episode with "them" in it--then they can say a "positive" response as they will receive promotional credits anyway.

What if Ed coming back is the reason they went to Hawaii? It was going to be the Fantasy Dates and then he came back and threw a wrench in the plans?

It would help to explain the shot of what looks like a final rose ceremony in Spain, and that they went to 2 different exotic destinations. Am I wrong in thinking that they usually only go 1 place?
