I don't call leaving for work and then coming back as trying to persue her.If he really wanted to persue her,leaving and then coming back was not the way to do it.IMO Reid is also persuing her and to a slightly lesser extent Kip is too.

Ed's leaving and returning is forcing him to work harder in his pursuit of Jillian to make up for his admitted bad choice to leave in the first place. He asked for a second shot and she agreed so he is still in the running right along with Reid and Kip. I think all 3 guys are all in pursuit of Jillian, but Ed may appear more desperate to catch up at this point, IMO.

I honestly like all the last 3 guys. I don't know any of them nor Jillian well enough to know who would be a better match. They are all so different. Ed is closer to "my type", so I am really happy he is back. At this point, I sort of think he is ahead, but don't know whether that is just because he would be ahead if I were choosing.

I'm hoping to be able to tell more Monday about Jillian's favorite. Hopefully, they won't spend half the time on Wes nor cut out important parts!

It doesn't mean he will but it's precedent, a bad one. That is why many are concerned for her choosing him for their future. Leaving out the scripted part which will always be debated, it's him bailing that is troublesome.

I'm speculating that they'll devote a 1/2 hr to Wes' date and 15 mins tops on each of the other guys.

Career-wise, I don't see his coming back at Fleiss' behest as a real 'plus'. So far he has not shown interest in changing careers so his return I would attribute to him thinking he really was genuinely in love with Jillian. In the first episodes, he was there but he seemed to be more of an observer. In fact, in one of the 'behind-the-scenes' shots, he and Jake were asked of his feelings about Kip 'sucking face' (i think this was Mike's description) with Jillian and his answer was reflective of his mindset then. He opined that Jillian would have to do what she has to do to know what she wants. This was the Ed in the process of finding his own connection with Jillian. That scene with Jillian where he asked to be taken back, that was the new Ed _ the one who knew his heart's desire .... He came back in response to his heart's desire so I expect him to actively pursue Jillian and to ask boldly for her hand in marriage. Ed is not Reid who, to use Jake's words is 'flimsy' (i assume Jake attributed that description to him as the camera panned immediately to him when Jake uttered that word.), nor is he like Kip who seems to be just quietly assessing his chances with Jill. He also does not mince words ... when asked if he had questions for him, he immediately said he wanted to know if he would get the rose (one-on-one date). He simply did not plead with her to have him back, he said "I want another shot ... you should let me come back". This guy is pretty straightforward ... very businesslike too ... I had a chuckle when he asked Jillian to "Have a seat" which sounded very dominant . His comment about "it's not about good but thinking you are good" another revealing trait. This man has a very healthy concept of who he is and what he is about.

Based on the previews, I have a nagging feeling Jillian opted for a very unusual ending .... Hopefully not 'too low-key' as to disappoint the romantic in us.
