Bachelorette 5**** Spoilers, episode 8 with screencaps

I had never bothered to watch the 'previews' for the Bachelorette or Bachelor shown at the end of the program back then. This evening I got curious so I decided to watch these previews. Wow, i found some things shown to be very confusing. I don't know if she brought 3 to the Finale but we are only shown two guys. Based on the scenes shown, i'd say that the one in blue suit was on his way (there was urgency in his stride) to see Jillian after his turn in the FRC ... and this was the guy on the doorway. I think, he proposed to her and whatever he said caught her off-guard and caused her to rethink 'things'. I think the guy in brown suit was the rejectee and in that scene ... he was shown walking away after the rejection. His gait seemed to suggest 'dejection' ... 'resigned' ... He had his hands somewhat in his pocket or so it seemed. Who won? It is very hard to guess. Jillian declared she woke up knowing she would be engaged at the end of the day ... she knew who she would choose ... Who? Kip? Reid? ... Ed? It sounded as though the latter (ED) was initially the F3 ... then he went back to plead with her .... That guy in that brown suit could be Reid ...Hmmmm ... I'm going 'bananas' LOL!

But don't you think that's perfectly normal? To look at her and also to look to the side and then look back? If I had a guy staring me directly in the eye all the time, especially from really close up, I'd tell him to stop! you're weirding me out!

If she's talking to him then I would think he'd be looking at her. If she's waiting for a response he might be someone who stops and thinks about it and looks into the distance a bit while doing so. Some people do that to collect their throughts and concentrate better this way.

The brown suit pic where Jill is hugging him look like Kip's hairline to me. Hands in the pockets reminds me of Ed because he does that sometimes.

I like that we don't know. It's much more exciting this way!!

I will make a bet - and I don't bet often - that both guys are walking TO someplace - not in retreat.......... and yes - the bach/ette ALWAYS walks them out - they don't leave alone - to the limo

Yeah, When I'm talking to someone I do not maintain constant eye contact.... it would be weird (to me) if someone was talking to me & didn't glance away a few times. If you don't believe me, try it the next time you talk to someone. Do not glance away from their eyes when they're talking or when you're talking....I'm just saying.

You are right! Everything is hypothetical at the moment. I look at the preview and it is so confusing. I guess that _

1) the guy in blue suit was Ed and he was the one shown at the door, quite possibly, to Jillian's room. He proposed ... Did he advance to the Final round? If he was that guy standing in that doorway, then he could be one of the final 2.

2) the guy holding the ring was Kip (the guy's fingers looked like his). The color of the guy's suit was blue(?). He definitely was one of the Final 2 (3 guys?). Did they photoshop the color of his suit to confuse viewers? Pefect example was Melissa's 'powder blue' gown ... which in the FRC, became a sunny yellow; the style or cut was the same.

3) the guy who was rejected seemed to be not much taller than Jillian ... and the hair did not look that wavy like Ed's ... Obviously, this was not Ed ... I thought at first this was Kip ... but if the guy holding the ring was Kip, his suit was not of the same color as the rejectee's so who was this guy? Reid? ... Did they photoshop that picture of the guy holding the ring? When was this shot taken? After he selected the ring or on his way to FRC?

So far, Kip's picture (if this was Kip and I feel this was him) holding a ring places him in the Final 2 so who was the other guy in a brown suit? Reid? That guy looked too short to be Ed.

In the past, the F1 is usually hidden. We generally don't hear much about the F1. Well, I read a lot of Reid 'sightings' ... and, recently, Kip surfaced _ he was interviewed for an event his company sponsored. The only one who remains hidden _ (news reports completely 'blacked out') is Ed. Does this make him the F1?

Personally, when I am talking to someone, I want to have eye contact with them. When someone is talking to me, I want to give them eye contact to show them that I am paying attention to what they say............I feel that is what is normal.

I agree...at least for most people I know. People that don't give eye contact when I'm talking to them, well, it's disconcerting and distracting. I don't think they value what I'm saying.

Bottom line, IMO it is disrespectful. I have been taught by some amazing mentors that we should look at everyone as if they're wearing a sign around their neck saying "Make me feel important/special." I believe we all need to feel important, that what we say is valued. When you listen to someone else, you are showing them respect and that you value what they have to say.
