On post #1244 where you have compared the hands, did anyone notice that unless #2 photo is reversed, the guy (Reid?) is left-handed or prefers wearing his watch on his right hand? Is that a clue?

I think I read somewhere that Reid is left handed.

I don't get it--how can Ed simply "show up at the htd RC" when HE hasn't been part of a HTD himself and then be included in the next activities? Also, don't holler at me but I've been busy with a sick elderly mother and have no idea what happens to Jake along the way and when HE is cut. All I have read is that he possibly shows up on Wes's HTD in Austin and that is where he is upset on a hotel balcony. Sorry, but I can't believe that Jillian let that "perfect guy" go!

Ed showing up at the HTD RC is right now just speculation. We don't know when exactly he shows up but we know he doesn't have a HTD, but appears in Spain. Maybe we will get a teaser on Monday of next week's RC so we can make the determination. Ed's return is at the aide of the producers, so he can show up anytime, anywhere.

Jake will get cut this week because as great of a guy he is, he just can't let his hair down. She likes him, but not in THAT way. If you can watch the sneak up on tvgrapevine you will see that they have a chance to talk in the train and he lays it out for her, but is it very obvious it is breaking her heart that she doesn't feel the same way. It should be very sad, but it is very much the right thing to do. He will show up on Wes's HTD presumably to warn her about Wes (again aided by TPTB)

Thanks for your response. That clears it up for me somewhat, but I just don't see how that is fair for Ed to re-appear without a HTD. Jill and Jake's one-on-one date was so magical--I can't believe she didn't feel anything for him. Although I won't be disappointed if she ends up with Reid. Ed, I'm not so sure about! She did cry when he left so maybe they make a special allowance based on her feelings for him?

There are 5 with HTD: Reid (the only one in the east coast), Wes, Michael, Jesse and Kiptyn. All of the last 3 are in CA! The only thing confusing is the 4 going to Spain. Either it's 5 go to Spain or Ed comes to the RC and Jillian decides to take him to Spain over another. Now, in the episode description it says someone starts to have cold feet. That could be a way for Ed to replace him? We will get a clearer picture once the press release comes out (either Tue or Wed).

I was re watching the previews on the first episode. There is a screen cap of someone walking through a curtain to join what may be a rose ceremony. Why would they show this shot if it had no significance? It was during one of the montages where the pictures go by so fast the only way you can get a clear indication as to who is each shot is with slow motion. It is right after we see Wes in a Brown suit, white shirt and striped tie and before Jillian (wearing the aqua colored hoody) and Ed (wearing the dark sweater) hug during their alone time on the snow mobile date.

Ed may come back at the rose ceremony following the hometowns which surprises both the men and Jillian. Chris introduces him and says since Ed already has a rose (the one he kept) two of you will be going home tonight (Jesse, Michael - both of them can't be happy about Ed's return). Ed then rejoins the show and goes to Spain with Jillian, Wes, Kip, and Reid.

Or maybe it is just a screen cap of Chris Harrison walking in to the rose ceremony – why wouldn’t he just come in through a door or hallway?
