I don't think we have seen Reid make her as happy as she is with Ed. She lights up like a christmas tree. As for his sense of humor, I think we will see them having a great time in Spain and Hawaii. What do you think of Reid's comment that he let her down? I just heard it again during the interview with Jill on the ABC website. Wonder why he would say that?

I think Reid makes her light up like a Christmas tree as well as Kiptyn. All 3 do. Heck, Wes does as well.

But the real question is does Ed light up like a Christmas tree when Jillian is around? I don't feel that he is as much into her as she is into him. And eventually she'll figure out.

I think he does! I just posted in his thread how he lit up when she walked into the rose ceremony in the beautiful yellow dress. He is a hard read, but his facial expression when he saw her was very telling about his feeling towards her, IMO.

Well, I hate to be all conspiracy theory-ish but what if all of this Ed rumor stuff was/is producer manipulated? Wes certainly was, to the point of having Jake come back flashing around an old girlfriends name. The rumors, the Reality Steve stuff, the mysterious posters claiming inside information just add to the drama and intrigue. It ups the stakes and makes us watch for the trainwreck.

(*not in any way implying that there isn't enough rope in those guys bags to hang themselves without Fliess' help, but if he scripts the show, he's certainly not above tweaking reality.)

what I find most ironic is the scripted girlfriend is getting less talk time than the rumoured girlfriend. who knew!??!?!

just another splice & dice. Maybe he regrets not telling her he loves her, but the next line is that he will tell her later that night or something.

A lot of it is in the perception of the person viewing, which is why things get so heated in here at times

I could make a list of moments for all F3 guys that could strongly show that Jillian is head over heels for that guy. What gets interesting is the fans of the other guy views the same moment and sees something completely different.

Since we are in episode 7, let's take the bench scene with Reid and Jill. What some interpret as awkward silence is actually Reid and Jill being silly, by looking towards each other at the same time, looking away, then looking back to one another in sync (wonder how many takes they had to do to get that one on film!) and then participating in a little eskimo kiss. And while some saw the Ed/Jillian talk as completely staged there was a very true moment in there where he brushed her bangs out of her eyes and she got all googly-eyed.

I think too many people close their mind once they have a favorite and overlook signs that point to another guy.

ETA IMO there is also a HUGE difference between having a sense of humor and having the ABILITY to make others laugh. Very different things.

Yes, my friends and I call this difference humor consumers versus humor producers. Usually, in relationships you have one of each--it can be too much if you have two humor producers together, it sometimes feels like they're trying to outdo one another and there's never a time for seriousness.

I think Reid is very witty and a producer, Jilly who likes to laugh at anything, is a consumer. A kind of easy, indiscriminate one, from what we see, but in this awkward situation, what is there to do but laugh?

I think Ed is hot as hell but from what we've seen he seems no producer. Kiptyn is too laid back to make the effort to be funny. But your mileage may vary.

Exactly. I knew that part of them on the bench prob sort of happened like that and they said, 'Oh, do that again'! Looked like part of a romantic comedy to me. Well, an attempt to one.

Maybe because Wes is in Spain. Reid felt like Wes was only there for his music and said so in a PI at the disaster RC where girlfriend gate was the topic. Maybe he feels like he failed Jillian in not telling her about Wes intentions? Actually, I think that quote being highlighted from Reid is a positive and shows he cares about her. I still believe Reid will end up being number one in her heart at the end!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone else notice that when Ed and Jillian were talking about Ed catching up, wanting to be fair to the other guys that Ed specifically says that he knows there are a couple guys there she is compatible with. So at that point had Ed been told who was left, or did he have some hint before he left there would be 2 guys that she would keep because it was obvious that she was into them?
