Really? I do not see it like that at all. Maybe he is more man to know when he does not like a situation he is in. If she keeps a guy with a gf there, maybe that raises red flags in Ed's mind re Jillian???? Like why would she do that?

That part I agree with, but if he does indeed come back after Wes leaves that makes him a big baby. Couldn't stick around and be there for Jillian when clearly Wes was deceiving her, but is willing to come back once he's gone???

Jillian mentions how she wants to make sure the guy isn't caught up w/the show and not real in how he feels for her (or something to that effect).

Could she send Ed back home to the "real world" to see if he really does have strong enough feelings for her? She does say something about testing the guys and also in interviews mentioned when sent back home last season she realized how her and Jason were not a fit.

I think Graham was DeAnna's pick, she just wasn't his.

I don't think it's a given that Ed does leave or even if he does we don't know the reason so maybe not fair to call him a wimp or whatever just yet. I can see him having difficulties with the format and maybe even leaving but him being in Spain and Hawaii doesn't make sense if that's the case. Possibly could happen if she sent him home because she wasn't sure about him and changed her mind because she's the one in control.

Jillian and her 10 remaining suitors head for the British Columbia resort town of Whistler under a cloud---some of the bachelors might have girlfriends. But the dating goes on: snowmobiling for eight guys, and one-on-one zip-trekking and ski-plane adventures capped by romantic dinners (and, in one case, a soak in a hot tub). At the rose ceremony, Jillian reduces the field to eight.
