I haven't read anyone else's post yets, but here are my thoughts on last night.
Wow, what a boring show. The only guys I even remotely like right now are Ed, Reid, Mark, and Juan.
Jake - he was hardly shown. I think he tries to fit in with whoever is around him. He's got the overly romantic edit.
Dave - that's one angry dude. I fear for her safety if she were to choose him. I imagine he's hit a few people in his past.
Ed - seems like a really nice guy. I like that he stuck up for Juan.
Juan - handled himself very well last night and didn't let Dave intimidate him but also stayed calm. Have to give him two thumbs up for that last night.
Mark - the only other person to stand up for Juan...seems like a nice guy.
Was it Jesse or Robby that toasted to Juan "i agree with what he just said"? We are left to believe that was in response to Dave's comments...but maybe it was edited and someone else had just said to Juan "hey, dave is a jerk that can't handled his booze...don't worry about it" and then the toast occurred. Guess we may never know.
Brad - one strange dude.
Kip - looks bored and tired. He is not interested in her at all. When she asked if he thought they made a good match, he looked down and to the left before saying yes...he is lying. I don't think he's getting the "next bachelor" edit at all.
I laughed out loud a few times tonight, especially when Wes kept singing that same line of his song over and over. One time, he even gave it a long intro that made me think we would be hearing something else for a change, but nooo! Too funny.
I had been defending Juan's heterosexuality up till now, but it is getting harder to do so if he is going to be doing commentary on her fashion choices. When he told Reid, I think, that he and Jill had a great conversation and discussed more than her dress, then added, "but we discussed that too", I howled.
David said it all when he told Jill how he is not used to not being "top dog" and it's sooo hard for him. That's an arrogant comment if I ever heard one. Does he think the other guys aren't feeling the same way? I can't wait until next week when she refuses to kiss him. He desperately needs a recalibration of his ego. If she keeps him after that (which apparently she does), it is clearly the producers' call.
Brad was creepy and did look like Stan Laurel. Tanner is creepy and I hope they are paying him well to embarrass himself this way on national TV. I'm starting to feel the Reid love, he really seems like the sharpest and most normal one there, and he's starting to look really cute. Not quite getting the Ed attraction, but obviously Jillian does if she takes him back and he is in the top 3. Not sure about Kip yet.
but she's blinded by her attraction to Wes. She was so gleeful when he did the serenading thing
I have to admit that I laughed out loud when Tanner was going on and on and on about kissing, sucking and plucking?? (I think that is what he said?) her toes. As creepy as it was, it also was hilarious!!
Also, did anyone else notice that Brad looked like he was about to fall over at the RC? He was obviously wasted. And looked awful!
I did get the sense that Jillian was uncomfortable with David.
I really like Ed/Jillian together and enjoyed their date. Yeah!!
Regarding Kip and Jill's kissing...still awkward to me. It seems like they are off, not in sync. Anyone else see that?
