Which kind of makes me disappointed in Jillian a bit. i really liked her a lot in Jason's season and was hoping she would be "real." I wonder if she knows the offers some of the guys got behind the scenes. I mean in the producers are making her take Wes all the way to 5, you would think she would know a little of what ABC is doing.

I don't think Jilly or any of the bachelor/bachelorettes have any clue about the "REAL" deal until "AFTER" they sign the contract..but i remember during Andy's season two of the girls Kate and Tina both came out and said that the producers told them exactly what episode they would leave...

Just told someone that I'm a cynical romantic - willing to believe the worst and hoping for happily ever after. I think TPTB may have had and F1 and possibly F2 picked out before Jillian even signed but (I'm hoping) IMO Jillian had them pinned against the wall. They had already cast some/most of the bachelors, they had announced the new season (perhaps even bought air time), and then there chosen one, Melissa, says no. Jillian had to know this and what other bachelorette could they get? Naomi - no fan base and I don't think she could carry a show. Hoping Jillian got a contract that made Fleiss choke.

And we did know before Jason's season was even over that Bachelors had been selected, and that CH had reported the next 'ette wouldn't be a retread (guess he'll have to be careful in the future....LOL) anyway, maybe the additional 5 were some that were rejected in the initial stages of the pool and upon reflection, when Jillian was hired on, they actually fit her better than Melissa would've.

Jillian lived through Jason's season, don't think she doesn't know there is a lot of manipulation taking place. She probably knows A LOT more than we'll ever know.

I saw he also said the bachelorette didn't work out. I'm suprised he's allowed to post about the show since he isn't off yet. I'm sorry about his bad luck, but he kinda creeped me out. At the end of the rose ceremony when the guys were saying their goodbyes, he gave a guy a hug that made me think he wasn't there to meet Jillian.

Now I have to go watch this. That is too funny.

I saw it, it was with Bilbro. They were standing side by side and turned toward each other and were still hugging after a couple of the guys left. LOL too funny.

Is it bad that I miss Billbro? He could have been humorous for a couple episodes. In no way would I have wanted to go any further than episode like 3, but he would have added some humor I feel!

I have a big [SIZE="3"]WHAT IF[SIZE="2"] that's been niggling at me (too new to this to know better, I guess! ) as I've been reading all threads with fascination..... so I'll throw it into the mix:

Does anyone think it's possible that the blurred final time-line & filming extensions, etc, etc, could be because Jillian "gets" ABC and tptb completely. Is it possible she dug in her heels when she found a soul-mate who might be against the almighty PLAN, [U]wisely[U] they both dug in their heels for time to do some serious talking....both realizing they needed and wanted to find the courage to lobby for honesty over sham, honour over manipulation...... contracts and pay-offs notwithstanding. What a cornerstone for a strong marriage!! THAT'S finding your best friend... each loving the other enough to risk whatever it takes to help the other do the right thing.

And WHAT IF a miracle happened.. that tptb were persuaded to give their blessing to her unscripted decision... and if that miracle grew to include a wedding... to inspire ... and all the cynicism cashed in on by Mr Fleiss et al, would take a back seat to surprising the fans with some integrity... talk about 'real' ratings and 'real' drama...not to mention the peace instead of trepidation in the hearts of both families.

Yes I know... maybe there should be a thread for dreamers.... you don't need to remind me it's "just a show".... and 'reality TV ' is for those with thicker skins than mine.... but miracles still happen ??

Agreed....at this point, I am thinking that one of the F2 is somebody Fleiss planned on, and the other one might possibly have come as a big surprise.

Even if one of the F2 is somebody Fleiss planned on there's nothing to say he couldn't still fall for Jillian anyway. A lot of actors fall in love with their leading lady and they are certainly being paid to be there.
