To be the next low-key bachelor?

It simply has to be mentioned that it is reputed in several places that Fleiss attempted to buy Bachelors for key spots - the nice way to say it is to cast them, but this time with guaranteed money instead of just positions.

The first that came out was that he tried to hire two guys for a certain amount with the idea that whoever she picked would be F1 and the other would be the next Bachelor. It was reputed that those two turned it down. I don't for one minute think that stopped Fleiss. He just moved on to somebody else, I think.

The next inside source I read said he was an applicant who knew some other applicants were offered money ( although he himself wasn't).

Now we know there are rumors that Jake is accused of wanting to be the next Bach. Hmmm.....

Is this just something that just completely happened, or was Jake hired ( cast) for that role to add drama?

We can't say...

Was Kip specifically hired with the idea that if she didn't pick him, he would be the next Bach? He seems to have what it takes.


ETA: From what we have found out, most of the Bach/ettes have a great idea by the end of the HTs who they want their F1 to be.

Well, if Bloomers scenario works out, you'll get to see a complete season of him.

That is my thinking as well.I had him picked for f1,but if that doesn't work I really hope Bloomers scenario happens.

Not only by the htds - I think by the end of the 1st night she probably knows which 6 she would like to continue on with and then takes along the ones TPTB want her too if they aren't already part of the 6.

I say this because, with my husband's job I quite often am attending functions/parties where I know nobody (except for my husband, of course). There are quite often 30-40 people there and within 2 hours I know which ones I enjoy being with and am comfortable with and with whom I would like to know better. I will still spend time chatting with others but the ones I originally liked are still the ones I enjoy the most.

I try very hard not to get attached to any of them because then it is hard to be objective enough to sleuthe out the F1, but really early on before I learned how to read the edit, and before I learned not to become attached, I picked the F2s. I couldn't understand how I could be so wrong when I am usually fairly practical and realistic in making judgments in life.

I came to realize it is because the edit focuses on the F2 in such a way that you identify with him/her and from there it is easy to see the F2 as the F1 in your mind.

We see the good-looking Kip everywhere. She is really attracted to him and it is so obvious. We are attracted to him too. She wants to make-out with him. ( Hey! If I were she, I would too! ) That is an obviously important element in a relationship. We can see in the screencaps that they have lots of fun.

We don't see that very much with anybody else; therefore, subconsciously Kip becomes F1 in our minds because he has been "edited" as the best choice for her. It looks like she is falling for him when she is really falling for someone else - they just don't show us as much of that.

Deanna's season is a great example of him manipulating in order for the F2 to become the next bachelor.

Deanna was absolutely beside herself when she had to let Jeremy go - not so with Jason. Jason was supposed to leave at F4 (when Graham was still in the mix), Jesse at F3 and Jeremy at F2 and Graham F1. Then this all fell apart and for whatever reason she shifted to Jesse. I think she wanted to take Jeremy to F2, but Fleiss wanted the beloved single dad to be the next bachelor (I'd rather Jeremy had been)....so voila - we got Jason/Jesse F2. And the rest is history.

Even if Kip is F3 and not F2, he could still be The Bachelor, but the F2 would have to get a really bad edit.

I am sure . . . as always it was rigged. I just really liked him. He is cute and I thought they were cute together.

I have personally jumped the shark on plotting and sleuthing this show. This time (yeah, I know I have said it before) it truly is entertainment and eye candy for me. That's it!

Just has been too much a cheese fest. In fact, I watched episode one and now two. And have just been like....wow.....it is like I know what comments, scenarios, dates, and actions are coming next.

Even Jillian (who I adore) looked tired and waned at the end of the last episode. Did you guys think so? Her hair was muffed. She had bags. She just looked exhausted.

I have heard explicitly that the producers wanted to keep both Moana and Kirsten on as F2s. In other words, once the Bachelor makes up his mind who the F1 is, then sometimes the producers get to pick the F2. Obviously in the case of both Kirsten and Moana who were very dramatic and controversial characters, it made for a much more exciting F2 than it would have if Tina Fab and Susan had been the F2s.

That is not to say that the Bach/ette doesn't choose his F2 most of the time, but I have no trouble believing that Jason as the producer F2 pick with the next Bach in mind.

Yes she did definitely look tired.Given the fact that it was probably 3am when they filmed the RC I am not surprised.

As I watch the edit now I do think that Kiptyn is getting the physical edit which we know translates to f2.Many of the other Bachelor/ettes have gotten the physical edit and they have been f2(Charlie,Kirsten,Bevin,Molly etc)

Oh, Kip, Please say NO to be the next Bachelor if the offer is there!
We all know what will happen when the beloved F2/F3 becomes the Bachelor/ette, so, please, NO!
Besides, he seems too laid back, too soft to carry the show. I've noticed that he tends to hide in the background in group settings. Camera shy?
