Jillian has a csrew loose if she doesn't choose Jesse. I believe he & Jake were the only two truly feeling for her the way a man should feel for the woman he loves. All the little things...he's mentioned losing sleep several times, his comment that Tanner at least kept his clothes on (like, "Watch youself around my lady"), the first negative comments we've heard from him...about Reid, who he must see as competition. I re-watched ep. 2 last night (I swore I wasn't going to do that this season) and I caught the scene of Wes laughing at his claim of being jealous of his time in the house. The didain on his face was obvious. I don't know about the next Bach, though. I adored Jason during Deanna's season and now associate him with the word "weinie", so I don't know if I want to see him topple from my pedatal.

Reid (my #2) lost me a little tonight. I get the whole witty banter routine, but I didn't feel anywhere near the heat I expected to. I was also surprised that he doesn't seem to be Mr. Popularity among the guys...they all seemed to agree any of them should get a rose over him. I do like that he talked with the train staff, though.

Reid had been dropping for me since last episode.

The only people talking smack against Reid were Jesse and Michael, Tanner said he was a bit neurotic but he thought he would get a rose. I liked Jesse before, but he just came off as a jerk last night.. he kinda had that "holier than thou/cocky guy" attitude in that PI and it just didn't sit right with me.

that didn't bother me, since all the guys have been talking smack about each other every episode. I still like Jesse, and that comment was left in to set up for his leave next week. Jesse did agree that Reid would get the rose.

See, that's how I've been seeing Reid. I can't think of all the instances but he makes little cocky comments sometimes, like the one about how he just knew Jillian would rather be with the blue team than the red after curling.

But whatever. If you look hard enough, you can find the faults in anybody.

I hope we get a plausible reason to her letting Jesse go besides the "I don't knows" she's been handing out lately.

Maybe we'll see something in the HT dates to let us know why he isn't chosen. I think her "I don't know"s are just her way of being nice.

There better be something in the hometown dates that warrant her sending him home. Because at this point.......I don't see how she could choose anyone BUT Jesse.

It's no secret that he's been my favourite since day one. But last night, even that small moment between them, I thought was the most real and sweetest moment on the whole show. He actually looked crushed when she gave kiptyn the rose in the hot tub. Everything he said to her by the fire is what I would have wanted a guy to say to me in that situation. He's just...perfect.

But I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that she doesn't pick him. And if that's the case, then there HAS to be something that happens on the HTD that explains why.

As for Reid (my second choice) I was not as blown away by him as I had hoped to be. I really wanted there to be something in that date that would push him ahead of Jesse for me (in order to make the farewell to Jesse a little easier to handle.) However, I didn't see any real heat between the two of them. Just a lot of cute banter. There's only so far cute banter could take you.

For me, Jesse is still the number one choice....it's too bad Jillian doesn't seem to agree.

One thing that did concern me was the look on Jillian's face as he spoke on Monday. She looked almost as if it pained her to listen to him, rather than the smile & glow she gets during her interactions with Kip.

I also don't understand why Jesse seems to have so few fans on this board! He seems to be the complete package to me.

It's because when looking at the screencaps, he was never a front runner. People find out the F4 very early on, so then they start to like those people since they make it far. Jesse doesn't make it far enough/have enough screencaps.

I liked Jesse night one - he seemed real and genuine and he had a good conversation with Jillian night one (even though I was skeptical about the whole Italy story - but I liked the Aspiring Canadian Tee).

I don't pick favourites out of the gate, I allow the edited version of the characters to enlighten me, and I like the edited version of Jesse - even when he was dissing on Reid, something that sounded like had taken place already but we didn't have any knowledge of it until his 1:1.
