Maybe Wes didn't look him in the eye and tell him until it was too late for Jake to speak to Jillian privately. Maybe after Jake had already been eliminated, he was packing his bags to go home, and decided to confront Wes about it because he was so angry, and Wes figured he had nothing to lose because Jake was going home anyway? I love Jake I want to believe him lol.Originally Posted by photoshopgrl;3520154;

Well, if Jake is into semi-attractive brunettes from the Pacific Northwest, give him my number ASAP!!! Rowr.
Jake's edit very well could have been twisted to make him seem 'boring and safe,' but who knows what he's really like? It doesn't matter if he's the greatest guy on the planet...if Jillian doesn't feel "it" for him, then she doesn't. Sucks to be her, great news for the rest of us still single!
I completely agree!Originally Posted by honeybeeseattle;3521578;
I can't help but thinking of Jake saying "wait until I get her to Dallas..." He felt then Jillian would see a whole different side to him. It's good she cut him if she wasn't feeling it because he was already very much into her.
One of the other spoiler threads said that Jake flew back to TX on the same flight as Tanner. And the poster surmised that Tanner filled Jake in on some details regarding Wes, and Jake just couldn't keep it inside, he felt compelled to inform Jillian about Wes' secret deception.
That was not stated as a fact. That poster was just throwing that out there as a possible scenario - just because she thought that Jake and Tanner would have been on the same plane returning to Dallas. It has not been proven. Tanner actually lives in Brownfield, Texas, which is in West Texas. I have read somewhere on this board that he is living in Brownfield - not Dallas. They are hundreds of miles apart. So, the above comment is just a theory - no proof.Originally Posted by fireflyer;3524072;
Yes, the sharing a plane was a scenario, not fact. But I have to speak to Jake if another scenario plays out...
Jake, Jake, Jake...word on the net is that many, many want you to be The Next Bachelor. I'm all for that playing out as well, but after the sneak peek for this week I have a concern. If it caused you such obvious agony to "hurt" Jillian with the saying of the word, girlfriend, then I worry about you breaking down and becoming speechless during the Rose Ceremonies. You can't make a guessing game of every rose given...Miss Mandy, I have an object on this table that I might give to you...uh... I mean why make a girl guess what you are trying to say, Spit It Out!
Please Jake. If re-cycle they must, you are the good guy, be the hero.

I'm so scared that the producers are really going to throw Jake into the mud this episode. The previews really show Wes as the bad guy, and the producers always like to twist things, so I think last week's bad-guy setup was a farce and this week's show will actually portray Jake as the moron instead.
Jake suddenly knows Wes has a girlfriend named Laurel. He tells this to Jillian with 100% faith that it's a CERTAINTY. I believe the producers called Jake & told him that and requested he come back to be filmed spilling the beans to Jillian. Jake, thinking the producers are telling him the truth, agrees to tell it to Jillian.
Jake shows up at Jillian's room and does what TPTB told him to do. Then Wes shows up. Wes categorically denies it. It's a showdown: Jake accuses, Wes denies. Jillian doesn't know who to believe. Wes says Jake is just there to get more screentime 'cuz he wants to be the next Bachelor. Jillian says goodbye to Jake and escorts him out, then continues her scheduled date with Wes. Wes convinces her the accusations are false. Jake stands outside in the hallway, crying, embarrassed and sad.
Jake, who has spent the entire season as the gorgeous kind-hearted respectable love-seeking man is now portrayed as a stalking headcase, even though he only came back once at TPTB's request.
I see this whole thing really coming off as a negative for Jake's reputation. It makes me sad.
(Wes' reputation I don't care about since he agreed to a publicity stunt, not to a marriage-seeking show. Doesn't matter to me if he changed once he got there -- it's original intent that counts, in my book.)
