I really honestly find it interesting that they aren't showing Ed in a bad light. They usually do that if the "actors, aka bachelors" abandon them.

apparently, a former magenic account exec (ed swiderski) is on the bachelorette... thats a career change i can respect!

I wonder how long he's been at MS that he can take the time off?

who knows, if he was recruited (which he may have been since he was in the "additional 5"), maybe he couldn't pass up a chance to be on TV and go on an "adventure". When I say recruited, I don't mean as an actor, but lets say one of the casting directors saw him at a bar and thought he was good looking and asked him to go on the show. He could have been flattered and agreed to it.

Is there actual proof that he leaves on his own, besides what he says to Jillian about not being comfortable - Tessa did the same thing and still ended up staying.

I can also see Ed being recruited - but to play a part. We've never had someone leave and then come back - presents all kinds of problems - drama etc. Just what the producers want to spice things up. He's game because he probably is getting paid - and it's something different - and sees Spain etc. Wouldn't think his supposed girlfrriend would like it .... We hsall see - but I do feel he is the one in the fountain screencaps.

well we do know he was home mid-April, so either he quit or she ditched him

it would be good if we could view his facebook page and see if he's been tagged in any pictures that could set dates on when he's been back in the US.
