With all the insiders we have and all the contradictions, nothing indicates what happens.

What you're saying makes total sense. But I've noticed over the past few seasons that TPTB seem to start the season with one theme in mind and then decide to go in a completely different direction towards the end. Deanna was all about "finding a family" then suddenly that wasn't her journey at all. They switched horses mid-stream with Jason as well when they changed his theme to "making wrong choices right" (I firmly believe they knew all along exactly how his journey was going to go - but somewhere in the middle they just decided to portray it differently than they originally intended). So - while I adore Reid - I'm a little worried that although they started the season with the theme of "finding mr. invisible", that may not have anything to do with the theme they'll attempt to play out here at the end.

Jillian mentioned Mr Invisible in her blog in a way to Jake. She said she hopes he finds his Mrs Invisible.

I've noticed this for at least the last 4 episodes...at first I didn't really give it too much thought but when they left off Wes' name last week on the remaining bachelor list side and everyone was pretty sure he would be the one she let go this week, I decided to see if Reid's name would be off the remaining bachelore list side after Monday's show as many sluethers think he will be the one Jillian lets go next week.

My only hope is that if this proves true, he will also return at the end, as some think might happen, and she will pick him at the end!!

and yet i agree with you. episode 8 clearly shows jillian to be so smitten with Ed! in one of my posts i even said she's a fangirl of Ed. am giggling so much to see Jillian play with her hair while talking to ed during dinner. i was like, "uh oh, i know that look! her eyes are sparkling!" Jillian appears (to me at least) to be giddy and nervous around Ed. Our Girl is in love with Ed!

I agree that Reid leaves this week. I think she picls Ed. But with all the rumors & theories out there, I question if she is with him.
And I wonder if Reid returns, and what all that is about? I hate how this season is so scripted.

It is true they mainly show the light-heartedness (which is very heartwarming!) and I, too, have wondered if they are TOO easy-going for him to be F1. But two reasons I still think there's hope: 1) TPTB are hiding stuff for some reason, such as the bathrobe scene which would have been a time to talk more serious and 2) I keep thinking of Jillian's comment that she likes herself best the way she is around Reid. I'm also remembering that she is talking to her mother once a week on the phone. Hopefully her mom gave her good perspective about what to think about and reminding her of what's truly important.

That said, I still think very long-term the Canada vs. US situation will come into play. Reid has a job where he can take off for long vacations to Canada and would like the adventure. Meeting the parents is going to be a deal-breaker for one or more of the guys.

Before Jesse and Michael were let go, their names were also missing from the remaining contestant side, but Wes' name was there. If the alphabetical theeory was correct, Wes' name would have been the one cut off because it didn't fit the space, as "W" comes after "J" and "M". JMO

Alpha, this is fascinating! Do you happen to remember if Ed's name was on the "remaining bachelors" list when Jesse's and Michael's were left off?

AH!!! I just realized the 'flimsy' comment - Reid has not given her concrete answers....she wants to know where they would live and he said they'd 'figure it out' and we know he's indecisive - takes me some time, but I get there....

I'm not positive, but I don't think Ed's name was added to the remaining contestant list until after Jesse and Michael were let go, but I do know for sure that is when the remaining contestant list only had Ed, Kipytn and Reid's names...even though Wes was still a remaining contestant and was not let go until this week's episode.

Now with Reid's name missing...and if they had room last week to list 3 guys names then I can't think it's just because they ran out of alotted space, it just makes you wonder if it does mean something...guess it will be interesting to see if Reid does go home next Monday!

Alphabetical would be Kiptyn Locke, Reid Rosenthal, Ed S. Although i expect if the poster actually opened the link all 3 would've shown up.
