Unknown, of course, because while I can't read the future, I also can't read a hinted at past. Speculation would be similar to the Jeremy situation, possibly, where the limo of tears also contained persons of influence who egged him on. Other speculation would be that the act of being rejected, brings the F2 into the light and, in his moment of clarity, knows he will regret it if he doesn't get the chance to put it all on the line. But, that speculation sounds more like Reid or even Ed, than Kiptyn.

My Proposer scenario is just that. From Jillian's words during the preview we know that someone returns to ask her to marry him, and that she gives his request consideration. Beyond that, we have a few screencaps and speculation based on edit.

Yes, she did. Which is why I thought the returning guy was either Wes (hard to let go because she was so attached) or F3 (returning because of things left unsaid, needing to put it all on the line).

Me too nutty1, because I thought someone determined the cloth was different between the two brown suits. I remeber seeing s/caps close up of two different patterns or materials. What happened to that theory?

That's if we take the VO as all being about the same guy. Tptb are known for splicing together things to make it seem different from what happens. Some of us think the comment about the guy coming to her door wanting to sweep her off her feet is about Ed coming back last week. Who knows for sure. They may back off of this suggestion (or not). The latest commercial talks about the "most surprising proposal in Bachelorette history" which could be a lot of things.

I can't remember - per their contract - don't both guys in F2 have to get rings or at least, pick out rings? They aren't obligated to propose are they?

I could see Kip saying "I didn't question things until today" if they are making him do the ring thing and he's not ready. I guess more will be revealed about his readiness on Monday when they chat about it in Spain.

I don't know about the contract but we've always seen the f2 picking out rings. It doesn't mean that we're seeing the f1 guy in that SC. I don't know if they can make them propose or not but I hope not.

It has been customary for both the F2 to pick out rings. This is to confuse the situation when they show both of them staring at rings on their limo rides to the FRC. And, no, there is NO OBLIGATION to propose.

The above, to me, frames out the scenes we've been given of the actual FRC. The players as yet to be determined, though Kiptyn's storyline strongly suggests the F2 position.

I could buy this except that I thought she said that he came to her room. I could be wrong on that. Maybe she does go back to her room after she rejects him & he comes then to propose and then we wait to see who she will pick.

Me too, on the bolded part I would like to hear them ask if they would like to be committed to each other and take their relationship further in the real world. To me that would be more realistic, rather than proposing for marriage after such a short time.

Can anyone remember of all the past seasons, if there was ever a time where there weren't any s/caps at all of the FRC this late in the game? I didn't pay attention in those days, I was just waiting for the love story! Who knew about s/caps back then, I didn't!

I'm not sure it will happen, but if the F3 could return why couldn't the F2?
