That's exactly what they play up when it actually happens. They did that with Ian in Meredith's season. He said more than once that he couldn't see himself proposing at the end and Meredith even said at the FD that she was fine with that.

The above, to me, frames out the scenes we've been given of the actual FRC. The players as yet to be determined, though Kiptyn's storyline strongly suggests the F2 position.

Exactly except I don't think the f2 guy is rejected at first. Jillian said she owed it to herself to consider it.

We all have our own reasons for figuring out who we have in the f1 place but I don't think we're going to be able to know for sure without more previews. I kind of like the suspense.

So you think the person who comes back is actually the F2, and not F3? And why would the proposer return after just being rejected?

So Arielflies when do you think the comment from Kip comes in about not questioning things until today?

Do you think it is possible at all that with this comment along with Jillian saying that it was hard to hear what he had to say means that Kip could walk away on his own at the F2 spot?

I just keep flipping back and forth on where Kips story is headed.

If Kiptyn does walk away at the F2 spot - he would have known he was not the chosen one in advance. He would have seen / felt her pulling away from him in the end (and we will see this too IMO).

I can almost feel a sad vibe to the surfboard scene (both in the water and on shore). Doubt they had mikes out there in the water but the whole scene screamed "parting" to me.

This is why I can't believe the person returning is the F2. It's got to be hard enough being rejected once, who would set themselves up for a second rejection, what, not even an hour later? I think it's gotta be F3 returning.

He wasn't rejected once before because we have a VO of Jillian saying someone proposed and she owed it to herself to consider it. The f3 guy returning after being rejected and not even being in the f2 is harder to understand imo.
