If their arrival is a "surprise", I would not expect their bios to go up before the season starts. So, it is possible one became a contender along the way.

What I meant was - they start with 25, then 5 are added mid-way through the M&G evening (there has to be theme to them, it couldn't just be 5 random guys??). 1 - 2 weeks later they're down to 12 or 9 guys in Vancouver, and suddenly they add in a few more guys who are Canadian (pics not on website yet to keep element of surprise), she has to decide if she'll trade in any of the Americans for any of the Canadians, or stick to the group she has. I thought Chris did say definitely there were some Canadian bachelors, so they have to come in somewhere?!

From what I read in the press release, I thought the other 5 showed up late at the M&G. At least that's what it sounded like to me.
