If Jason were picked, I wouldn't have any problem 'missing' it. Because, they show the episodes on abc.com and there would be plenty of fanvids, etc to see it from.

Is it possible that after editing the "Engagement Party" there was not enough useful footage to fill the spot, so they run the Bachelor thing with "new material."

I'm sure that Deanna (if she is truly happy with Jesse) is aghast at the outpouring of disdain for her choice, and is probably absolutely disgusted at the edit she and her intended have received. However, in saying that, both she and Jesse both signed their lives over to Fleiss and his minions when they signed up to do the Bachelorette.

Unfortunately, they are all adults and knew that they may or may not be shown in a good light.

But, on the DTA, she purposely said she was "happy with the edit" - that it was real. Next, in the interviews, she states "everyone is going to love the surprise in the next show." I call BS. If the edit is real, then WTH, is going on? Is she Delusional? Sadistic?

Why didn't they show the pancake birthday breakfast they had for Jesse? I bet they have a lot more footage they could've shown us and they should have created a different angle for the whole shebang.

But see, that's the whole problem. With the edit of D and Jesse there is absolutely nothing that makes me care. I am like yeah, whatever. Whereas the edit with D and Jason made me care very much. Whatever they were trying to accomplish really backfired on them IMO.
