Maybe I'm a little too jaded by reality TV, but I think you're giving TPTB way too much credit for decency. I think they'd show whatever they are given to show, and if Jason made an a$$ out of himself, they would've shown that despite him having a child if it helped ratings. Unless they had some extremely compelling reason to give him special treatment - for example, he wouldn't allow his son to be shown on the show and they thought that was worth the ratings boost - I can't imagine they would give him any special consideration as just one of the guys on the show. I think the reality is that Jason really is the great guy we all think he is.

Maybe everything truly DOES happen for a reason!!!! Hopefully Jason will remember that.

I think he is a great guy as well, but they can edit anyone to look like a fool or at least put doubt about the relationship. Look at Amanda, and her silly prank. I still question why they didn't do anything to make us question. Personally I didn't see the connection with Jason that most here do, but I also didn't see a lot of doubt thrown on the relationship. The only conclusion that I can come up with is Ty??

No. It said The Bachelorette: An Engagement Party. They cannot put Shayne in the role of Bachelorette. She was part of The Bachelor series.

True, she's not in a committed relationship with any of them, but "dumping", being "dumped" are terms DeAnna used when describing what Brad did to her... used them repeatedly. So I think the term applies.
