Re: The Aftermath

I don't think anyone is doubting cape at all, I'm not. She has proven that she would never post anything that she didn't feel to be 100% accurate. I think what people, including myself, are saying is that it's just so weird how all of a sudden people were so sure Jason was it, then the ATFR gets moved to a closed set and all of a sudden we have leaks saying Jesse is the F1. Really no leaks came from the MTA because we already had figured out that Jeremy wasn't in the F2. The only 'leak' would be the pics he was shown in over the MTA weekend where the Bach's and past Bach'ettes got together for a fun weekend. No one that went to the MTA leaked that Jeremy was there, the proof was already figured out and was in pics that the Bach'ette contestants themselves took. So why make the ATFR a closed set all of a sudden? Nothing makes sense...

I have no doubt that cape's sources found out that Jesse was the F1...but why make the paid audience members wait for almost two hours after their call time to go inside to watch the taping? Again, nothing makes sense. Time is money in tv land and TPTB wouldn't waste almost two hours making people wait outside...okay, maybe 10 minutes or so, but not much longer. Things are usually pretty prompt in tv world...again, time is money.

Why all these leaks...why now? Again, I don't believe anyone is doubting cape, we're doubting TPTB and these current events. WHile I would like to take everything I've heard about Jesse being the F1 as kosher, you can't fault me for not believing it 100% when I haven't seen or heard it for myself and have no idea who the sources are...

Re: The Aftermath

I agree all of this is weird. I'm not sure what Vet Tech was trying to say in her post. It sounded to me like she was saying Cape was wrong, but maybe not...?

Heck, I'll go further and say I've talked with someone on the phone who was there.

What do I know? There were paid people there and regular people who stood outside and waited to get in.

The audience all watched the finale show first. I was told it is going to be heart-breaking to watch Jason be let down.

They bring out Jason and he was very funny and has a quick wit....still hurting....but very gracious about everything and comes across very well.

The subject of Graham came up again and De said something about wanting to set things straight and they (Jesse and Jason) needed to hear it, too. She just flat out said to Jesse and to Jason something like he was not a factor in her decision and that it wasn't something they ever had to be concerned about (or something to that effect).

Of course, De's family or at least her dad was in the audience (I imagine they all were but I will only report who/what I was told specifically) and was talking about how they would ask De if she was gonna get to go see her 'F1'...LOL...that's what they called him because she couldn't tell who she chose.

The big reveal is the wedding date is set for May 9, 2009. IMO, if they don't show THAT part, it will be telling. They also gave Jesse and De a honeymoon trip to Santorini Greece.

She looks stunning, as always, and is tiny in person. That's about all I can say. Anything more and it will be too much of a personal overview of the person I spoke to and I don't want anyone to know who that is. This person has allowed me to say things as long as I keep it generic.

I post this because I'm tired of hearing cape is giving false info. She's not like that at all.

Re: The Aftermath

The aftermath of this for me is that I will no longer watch either show again ( I say this now - we'll see) but I feel cheated. I am not a sleuther by any stretch of the imagination (last season I called a local attraction and was given completely false information) so I don't really fall on one side of the fence or the other but let my feelings for the "contestants" for want of a better word develop as the show goes on, with a little "light" reading here on the side. All that said, I don't feel like I know Jessie in the way I feel I know Jason. TPTB spoon fed me Jason. I like Jason. I am not a rumour listener and when all that came out I wanted to post that I still liked Jessie, he is my kinda guy. At the end of the day I think I'm the lucky one, I've got my DH and have had for the last 11-12 years.

Wow! I am a Jason fan, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to watch. I also do agree with those who say that experiencing all the 'firsts' with someone who is also experiencing them as 'firsts' is more attractive than with someone who has been there, done that...

Jammie, I applaud you for wanting to defend Cape. But I think there is some disconnect here. I don't think people are doubting Cape. I think people are questioning the unnamed sources and ABC's intentions. Particularly since the inside info was leading in one direction fairly consistently and now there's been a complete and sudden about-face from either the same or other unnamed sources.

I think if they do NOT reveal the wedding date, then we have the answer. If they do reveal the wedding date, I don't have a clue.
