Re: The Aftermath

When she was walking along the beach with Jeremy this past episode she was telling him how she wanted a career in showbiz and how she even wanted to have her own talk show one day. I wonder why that was kept on the cutting room floor

Picking Jesse is an easy out. I never saw her dropping her new found "fame" and LA lifestyle to move out Seattle for an "insta-family". SHe was never moving to Seattle (IMO). In picking Jesse they both have nothing to lose. If she would have picked Jason she would be instantly accountable and responsible for a family. Jesse seems to be a go with the flow guy with the flexibility to do alot. She's not leaving LA (IMO) and picking Jesse will not slow her down and WHEN THEY END UP BREAKING UP before their wedding, everyone's OK

I posted early during B12 that I though Matt would pick Shayne for simlar reasons. Sure he liked her, but he was new to this country and his only exposure was to LA. He was going to move to America, but I don't think he was every going to move to Charlotte. Picking Shayne was safe. Neither one of their lives would be disrupted when he moved here. And if it doesn't work out, then not much has changed. Matt is in LA and Shayne's life goes on without much disruption. Everyone wins.

Don't ever underestimate the way these contestants decisions affect their everyday live's and some of their motives of actually living in the LA area. A lot of people didn't understand why Brad didn't choose DeAnna to atleast date but we have to understand that he was moving back to Austin and you don't just "date" someone who lives in another state unless you plan on moving them to your city. You have to really be in love to disrupt someone's life like that

Yes, he has it is either in this thread or the paid audience members thread. I have read so much these last few days I don't even know which way is up or if I even slept last night.

If this is true then why was he so shocked he got cut? I mean she's talking about her hollywood aspirations during their "romantic" one on one fantasy date time. If that isn't a clue that she wasn't into him then I don't know what is.

Thank you for that! I do agree Jesse is the easy choice as well.

Hope you all had a great time with Jeremy! How is he doing? Does he now realize he is better off?

I fear this is the truth, and because of this, I feel totally duped. I honestly believed that DeAnna wanted a family now (not in 5-10 years), and that was her top priority. She said quite a few times how she did not want to hurt Jason (especially because of Ty), but yet she kept him all the way to the end. Why didn't she let him go a lot sooner, if that was the case?

How are Hollywood aspirations supposed to be a clue to Jeremy that he was going to get cut? Its ok to talk about future plans during "romantic" walks on the beach? I'm confused

He wasn't necessarily the "hard to get" kind, you just send him off because of your own insecurities or you exhaust the poor guy because nothing he ever says or does will ever satisfy you. It helps you stay the victim "Why doesn't anybody love me?". That usually stems from something related to childhood - divorces, death, neglect or abandonement and keeps you longing for the unavailable.

Graham wasn't playing hard to get and he isn't the guy she couldn't have. She sabotaged it. She wants to play victim now and make it seem like it was his fault because he couldn't open up, but he wasn't taking it because he isn't going to be her fall guy.
This goes along with her quote that she has always been scared of perfection. (She was talking in context of why she let Jeremy go, but I think she may wind up feeling the same towards Jason that she did towards Jeremy---too good on paper that it scares her and she can't find the excitement or passion with a guy like that).

Well, hasn't Jeremy said that he might move to LA as well, flirted with going into entertainment law (and maybe a bit of modeling)? Maybe he figured they were just discussing it in terms of ambitions they'd entertain while they were having a relationship, and you'd-like-to-to-to-LA and I'd-like-to-go-to-LA would seem like a good fit.

See I'm one of the few that think she would go so far as a wedding to continue her time in the spotlight...and to get the million dollars (or was it more??) that Trista got. Plus, Trista still shows up on my TV all these years later and now she and Ryan are getting their own reality show, right? I would think this would be VERY appealing to Deanna and she would love to follow in Trista's footsteps. Didn't she say something about wanting to be on Dancing with the Stars or was that just a rumor?

Well, she sure had me fooled. I mean, what did she think keeping Jason around meant, if she wasn't willing to move to Seattle?

I don't see her at all interested in the snowboarding thing, so I don't even get how that would work.

Does Jeremy know how they are going to use him on the show tonight?
