Re: The Aftermath Okay, I surrender: Jesse wins. I have been holding onto any last bit of hope that the information was wrong, but with all the details given out, it is definitely Jesse. But why? I am angry at the edit--it was unfair to the vast majority of the audience that fell in love with Jason. It was certainly unfair to Jason who was certainly led on by Deanna despite what she promised. And I am angry at myself for once again getting so involved in a reality show. I cared way too much about this. This is truly it for me: Brad, Matt and now Deanna can all go on their merry ways. I will watch Monday night until Jason leaves, but I cannot watch her with Jesse. I could be wrong, and come January maybe everyone will be back on board, but I think ABC has lost many Bachelor viewers by this show. I don't have it in me to be a casual viewer--it's all or nothing for me--so I will not be among the next season's viewers, if there even is a next season. Now I am done with posting and speculating and will go back to my real life, which is actually a whole lot better than this show!

Re: The Aftermath Is it odd that May 09, 2009 is a Saturday, or are these events typically filmed, edited, and shown weeks later? (a big THANK YOU to Jammie for the great sleuthing and humane sharing of information )

Yuppers - he wins the contest - as he somewhat and vaguely mentions and refers to a couple of times thru out the show - 2 stubborn folks together - man I can see the fireworks now ![]() ![]() At the beginning of all of this - I was basically encouraging folks to give Jesse a chance - he was shown a couple of times to have some real charm - such as on the HTD - there sure was/is alot that we didn't see about him - so hidden he was lost LOL

Re: The Aftermath Since I can't stand to watch Jason get hurt, I will only watch the ATRC. Yesterday my emotions were running between being so pissed off and so sad at the same time I couldn't think straight. I think I am going to hold my opinion till I see how Dee treats Jason during this show. My only hope is that she will at least try to give him something a little more than she was able to give Jeremy to help Jason have some closure. I'm glad to hear he was gracious. I would have expected nothing less from him. I wish Dee and Jesse the best of luck. I loved Jason as a lot of people did. My problem is that TPTB, instead of letting everyone see all season long what was between Dee and Jesse, they used Jason to the hilt to pull the ratings in then rip the rug right out from under him! That was not fair to Jason.BTW, tomorrow is Jason's birthday. Maybe all of Jay fans should hop a plane to Seattle and cook him breakfast in bed! ![]() ![]() Jason if you read these boards, have a Happy Birthday and good luck in the future! You truly are a good man and a rare find in this world today! ![]()

I was just thinking that very same thing - Brad got crucified for not picking anyone....but in this case Deanna will be the brunt of Fleiss's actions and will suffer for it. Unfortunately.

Re: The Aftermath OK, I've been lurking and lurking here for days, and now I want to ask a question. First of all, let me say that I am definitely a Jason fan; although I think Jesse has his appeal, not my type--but I'm 51 and married for 31 years! . The edit to me has definitely led to Jason, but it reminds me of how sure I was that Krista was going to pick Charlie, and she ended up with Ryan. I was floored by that. In any event, it scares me--all the stuff on the board here, and that it IS a Jason edit....which may well mean Jesse will win.So here's the question: Does Fleiss REALLY read these boards and think this is so much of a population that watches the show that he would throw a mislead out there and let people think Jesse won? I think the people here are great, but seriously, would what you all say and do affect the show to the extent that he would mislead people by the ATFR show?????
