Of course, you could ... if the person approaching you had a huge smile on his face (like Jason's), you are bound to smile back _ to reciprocate that. Also, these two have established a friendship, so the comfort level would influence how she would handle the situation.

In Jesse's case, he was so nervous ... he could barely muster a smile. Also, their backgrounds _ Jason _ a divorced single father and a salesman by trade would approach this sort of situation differently than the single, young snowboarder who probably had never proposed to a girl before.

well she went thru this exact situation and I am totally convinced that yes she is not perfect but in this very specific occasion she will never play on TV the girl who smile and kiss and hug a guy and let him propose (remember he said he loves her so she knows he is going to propose) and in the end said : well you know what? Ciao babe!

Of course I do not deny that Jesse is serious and nervous. However, I do not read any enthousiam on DeAnna's face. Her body language the day of the final rose says that indeed she cares but Jesse is not the one.

Can you just give me one single SC to proove me that she is welcoming Jesse with the same enthousiam?

Even when she hugs Jesse, her body is aside. However when she welcome Jason she is right in front of him. She avoid the kiss with Jesse. She does not with Jason

This is a bit difficult because I believe this cap which you are talking about is from DeAnna AFTER she has sent Jesse home, AFTER she has had some time for touch-ups. I believe in this cap she is walking to get ready to meet Jason.

(I know, y'all are thinking "how can she be smiling after rejecting Jesse?!" BUT if you guys can believe she kisses Jason the way she does and then rejects him, i hope you guys can consider this possibility too!)

If there's anything in this pic you need clarified please ask!



ETA: De's dress isn't as smooth when her hair is behind and she looks serious precisely because she's just arrived at the FRC and her dress has been windblown. What does she arrive to do first? Send Jesse packing.

I guess we will have to wait and see .... As they say people look at things differently.... They maybe looking at the same object but they'll come away with different perception which are in part dictated by their backgrounds and biases. My analysis is based on my training and education _ studied theatre and fine arts. When you are trying to portray an emotion, you would study the body language ... and in situation where emotions are communicated via facial expression, you tend to see what facial muscles are involved to project the right expression and engaged those 'muscles' to project that emotion. You used the same technique in painting ....

The best test is to observe yourself _ see what happens to your face when you are happy or angry.... Hmmmm

I also posted 2 SC showing that the distance between DeAnna and Jason and DeAnna and Jesse were very different. My analysis is based on years of Human Ressources recruitment.....

In the preview video for the FRC, there is a clip of De coming in a different direction after CH drops her off underneath an overhang. She then walks down a long sidewalk.

Not sure where that would have been.

I don't think we can take just one video as proof as that being all that was done. I think he could've walked her up there (whether to take promotional shots or not doesn't matter), left her somewhere to get her thoughts together, then walked with her to the overhang place. There's lots of possibilities.

But what seals the deal for me is the smoothened dress. It doesn't look like that when she greets Jesse.
