Re: I guess paid audience members wasn't the answer either

    Just a few comments -

I feel the editing failed - if there was something going on with Jesse - why not show it and let there be a contest - let us wonder whether there might be some feelings for Jesse. But there has been nothing substantial between Jesse and Deanna and on top of that his edit has not been particularly flattering with some of his comments. Now maybe that's just the way he is - but makes you wonder about Deanna's judgement if she is attracted to someone like this. True we do not really know Jesse - but he has not been presented well - with some of his comments.

I agree - Jason did come on pretty strongly. Did he know the Deanna that we know ? He did see her outburst at the barbecue party - and was probably aware of all the tears when saying goodbye to everyone, and maybe heard about her fake injury at the ranch date. She made a comment after the date in the dirt buggies that Jason just drives his straight ahead - as compared to Jesse who was taking risks and doing wheelies etc. And when she visits Jason's family - the Mother says something to Jason about staying strong and to Deanna about thinking big ?? - so maybe there was an inkling then that Deanna had some reservations. A little hard to believe that she would risk her fans disfavor by keeping Jason if she was not going to choose him and is she really ready to have 3 kids before age 30 when she is picking Jesse ? I can understand that life with Jason would be settled - that Deanna apparently likes lots of new adventures - and maybe that concerned her. But Jesse the way he has been presented to us - just 26 in March - ready to settle down ? Seems like a kid, not sure about all of this happening so quickly ! And it is funny to me too that she was in love with Brad - and was attracted to whom Jason was - and they seem far more mature, knowing what they want - than Jesse. Perhaps she wants a more 50/50 relationship instead of Jason protecting her - maybe his life is already too established for her to feel a part of it ??

I wasn't a fan favorite of hers in the Brad show - she reacts differently to things than I would. But I could understand that her experiences with her mother dying etc would have an affect - so I was willing to see how this show developed. But it has bothered me more and more - the manner in which she talks to the guys - just doesn't seem sincere. Does she just want to drop a few years off her life , have fun, be loved - maybe so. Too much pressure in her young life.

Ding ding! I think you're right. I have learned not to get too invested in the outcome even though I can't help but pick a "favorite" in my mind.

This show has always been edited to be a question mark right up to the end. I have watched em all and I've never gone into the finale knowing for sure who the F1 is despite reading the spoilers. I personally don't want to be the recipient of inside info, but I like reading others spill the beans - especially when they flip flop from one day to the next.

I'm beginning to really love that aspect of the show. I can't ever remember "agreeing" with the picks for F1 but it's not my life so I don't lose much sleep over them either.

I, for one, hope the series continues in the same manner. Bring on the confusing edits and screen caps - I'm beginning to truly enjoy them.

I too hope Deanna is happy whoever she is with, but dont let me see this awesome love story happen with Jason and NADA with Jesse, just to say Deanna's fairytale love story ends with Jesee. I feel like another poster had said, How can I be excited to be a part of the ending of her fairytale if I wasnt included in the begining and middle also.
    So very true!
That's why this makes no sense to me what so ever
We never got to see the fairytale story everyone was pushing??
I thought we did with Jason
Jesse fans if I missed something somewhere please tell me

I have read the first 20+ pages of this thread and no one has mentioned this...and I doubt I'll make it through the whole 100+ pages!

During Firestone's season, they hardly showed Jen at all until the fantasy date. At the ATFR show they said they couldn't show them together because it would have been obvious from the very beginning.

Also, it's quite possible Jason has known he wasn't going to be the final one but if it's true they are looking at him for The Bachelor, they need him to stay around and build a fan base to attract viewers for his season....which would also explain why he has gotten such a good edit.

I have noticed the chemistry between Deanna and Jesse ever since they had that one-on-one time during a group date and she was dying for him to kiss her. She was looking at him the way she looked at Graham before they argued and she was asking him to kiss her.

Sorry I disagree. I have seen the looks and the touches and the hugs and the kisses, not just from Jason but from Deanna too, To me the interaction with Jesse and Deanna looks scripted, forced, and uncomfortable. But that is JMO

If so then she is a much better actress than I ever gave her credit for.
