I noticed especially on the fantasy date that Jesse really stood out for fun and for a special closeness that wasn't developing with Jason. Jason is WONDERFUL, but there are strings attached. It was clearly shown when Deanna kept bringing up Ty and Jason said, 'let's talk about us'... she's not as into Jason. I know the BL specialists will disagree, but Deanna is really taken with Jesse and I personally do see it. I think love caught both deanna and jesse quite by surprise, which makes it all the more real to me. I think it is a love match and I do think they are well suited to each other. So there is a love story, I think some just refuse to see it.

I have to say that I'm not a hater. But on the edit, I think that some of us need to just agree to disagree. A lot of us didn't see it. For me - I was NOT blinded to De's relationship w/Jesse. Yeah, I've been pulling for Jason, but I can acknowledge what she had w/Jeremy and Graham. Heck, I would not be upset if it were either one of them as F1. Because I felt like I was shown a developing story w/them as I did w/Jason. But no matter how many times folks on here say that some of just refuse to see it, doesn't change the fact that some of us just didn't see what looked like love to us. I don't hate Jesse, I just don't feel like I was given anything at all and I'm not invested in the two of them as a couple whether they really are one or not. TPTB failed in selling their 'F1' to a lot of viewers.

Even as a Jason fan I agree with you on this, too. I see Jesse and DeAnna happy together and I hope they stay together. He is a funny guy!!

As for those who didn't like the edit, welcome to reality tv. I remember this conversation for Ian & Meredith, Jen & Andrew, Andy & Tessa, Sarah & Travis... often the editing doesn't show the "love story".. it's complained about nearly every season. last season when it WAS shown with Matt & Shayne everyone called it a set up and said it was too obvious... I don't know what the editors can do to make the audience happy. Viewers aren't happy when shown the love story (Matt & Shayne) and they aren't happy when the ending is a surprise... Personally, I think if people hadn't read all the negative stuff about jesse, fewer people would be upset about the ending AND would be able to see the love story developing. I remember many seasons that some seasoned sluethers would point out that the F1 starts to shine on the HTD. It's there, you just have to be willing to see it.

But for some reason DeAnna and Jason just pulled me in. I thought it was a joke when i saw the Jesse F1 posts.

After all of her crying about Brad leading her on, she did the exact same thing to Jason. All of her statements of wanting to settle down and have children -- Lord help her if she thinks she is mature or unselfish enough to give someone else more love than to herself. I hope she's ready for the upset fans.

I agree with you on this. My DH said it can't always be who you(me) Think is the prince, It just might be a Normal everyday guy. I'll be watching, but like others here I just wish we would have seen more of their connection.

I am not really sure she knows what she wants, but maybe one day she will figure it out. I am not really as upset with her as I am Fleiss.

Maybe Jesse is what she wants.....how come everyone thinks she led Jason on but not Jesse if Jason wins??????????????????

With Jesse being the F1, Fleiss should have done a better job at showing us that love story. Instead he spent a lot of time focusing on Graham, and then after Graham left he focused on Jason. That is what I am so upset about, not that she chose Jesse. If that is who rocks her world, then so be it, it is her choice. However where I disagree with her is in some of her statements that she made and how choosing Jesse it appears to me that those were nothing more then words.

The scene you're referring to has stuck with me all week. My initial thought was that I really liked the way Jason handled the conversation ("if you want to talk about Ty we can, but I want to talk about us"), but I keep thinking about DeAnna's response, which was something like, "we can talk about both." It rang a warning bell for me that as a Jason fan I didn't want to hear.

I agree, and if she was indeed having doubts at that moment, she should have sent him home that night.
