Just my opinion... regarding the above bolded comment....that is BAD because it would be something DeAnna would be doing that would LOOK like she was doing something nice but would REALLY be doing something selfish. Let's say she does give Jason a rose to give to Ty---then Jason gets his 8th rose, but it's not really his (slap in the face, right there)...and then he has to go home and tell his son "well, Deanna liked YOU so she wanted to give YOU a rose" the underlying message there being "but she didn't like Daddy enough for her to give Daddy one too." So DeAnna feels all good about herself, she gave a 3yo the rose he wanted---she's wonderful. And Jason feels like crap because he didn't get the rose, he didn't get the girl, and he has to explain to his son that "well she really liked you, it's me she didn't want". That's how giving Ty a rose would be a bad thing. IMHO.

ITA - It would be a slap in the face to Jason, and a very cold thing for Deanna to do. If that happened, it would totally change the way I have seen her as a person! Let's just hope this scenario does NOT come to pass!

Ok, here are my final thoughts.

So here's what I was thinking. I think I get how she could pick Jesse. She is young - only 26. Yes, she says she wants 3 kids by 30, yada, yada. She is attracted to Jason, I mean, what's not to like? He's a great guy and she knows it. But as the end gets closer, real reality sinks in. Hmmmm, a young child, there all the time. Gone are the days of fresh romances where you could pick up and go away for a weekend on a whim. Stay in bed all morning....and all afternoon, if you wish. Have sex on the dining room table. Just get to know each other. Yes, she loves children, but the responsibility of one is huge. Life is never the same. Then there's Jesse. Apparently, financially stable, has an exciting profession, traveling is part of his normal life, is a daredevil, is just FUN. And all those things I mentioned from a new romance - she could so it all with Jesse. So while Jason was perfect, maybe she just wasn't ready for it. Will it be the right choice?? No one knows, do they?

As far as Jason, I believe he was one of the naive ones who came on the show really looking for love. No ulterior motive. And he believed he fell in love with Dee. But we all know how they brainwash the contestants, and who owuldn't fall in love under the perfect settings of fancy places and expensive dates?? I am hoping that when he got over the shock and hurt, that he will relaize Dee wasn't the girl for him. And I hope he finds his perfect match soon - and not on a TV show.

I totally agree with the bolded part. I wish him the best, and I have no doubts he will find it.

So, going on a show with true intentions of finding love where DeAnna was going on and on about how it really works and she believed in is naive? You knnow, I think Jason is brave. He put his heart out there and didn't treat it like a game.

I say naive, because I still feel the majority of folks on the show go on for other reasons than finding true love - usually to start up a career, get your face noticed, move to LA, etc. So I said that in an endearing way, certainly not as a criticism.

I am not POSITIVE but I believe we were offered this quote at around the same time we heard the "I can't live without Jesse in my life" quote. I will go search for both of them, but my computer is being pokey---anyone else have a quicker response?
