People said that there was no way Meredith would pick Ian because he outright told his brother he wasn't going to propose at the end of the show. So I'm surprised that people are surprised at Jesse's comment about not getting married in two weeks. It has precedent.

And.....by the way.....he didn't get married in two weeks. It might be quite a long time until they get married....if they do.

He has not changed the way he talks, nor tried to be some 'perfect' man. He's been himself. And when it's needed he is romantic or serious, but by nature he is whimsical and laid back. Saying that he wore pink shoelaces was disrespectful? Why because somebody should have to throw on a tux to meet somebody? If he did that, then he would have been misleading straight from the first impression because that's not him.

And like I've posted before, I agree about the edit and the inclusion of Ty. Even if Deanna picks Jason I disagree with it because I think they've exploited the child. But seriously, if you want to hate that, then you have to place some of the blame where it ultimately lies. Not ONE thing of Ty would be on the air without the parents approval. So Jason allowed this, and he is responsible for Ty, not the producers.

All of that venting out, I still think Jason wins and I'm fine with either choice because contrary to the posts I keep reading this is not a 'story' nor is it a 'game'. This is peoples lives. And while it is a show and aired for the public, ultimately it doesn't affect our lives. And while it's not typical life, it is still real people, with real feelings and it is Deanna's choice for her life. I for one believe she truly doesn't want to hurt anybody and was there to find love. And if she says she found it, that's good enough for me.

What a great post newMrs. And I hope, after being disgusted by the constant Jesse's character assassination, more and more Jesse's supporters come out and post again..........((((( I can assure you Jesse IS DeAnna's choice ))))))

And Jesse followed up that marriage comment with talk about being scared. He in no way said he didn't want to marry Deanna, that he didn't love her, or that he wouldn't commit or propose. In fact, the Dad came out of that conversation believing Jesse DID want to marry Deanna and was just afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. Did everybody just forget that part and the conversation that followed between Deanna and Jesse's Dad.

Yep ... I'll believe they'll tie the knot when I actually see it and even then I'll still have my doubts and will be waiting to hear about the divorce. Sorry to all of the Jesse fans, but I just don't think that this would be a lasting marriage (of course I never saw the whole "romantic connection" with them to begin with either).

This is the worst edit of any season I have ever seen. We've been Fleissed.

If you are a student of the edit, and you look at it from the edit point of view ( forget favorites), the ending simply does not match up to the edit that runs throughout the story.

Now, I have been one throughout this season to talk primarily about the edit, so I am not starting something new here. I am frankly baffled, and I tell you something is not quite right.

We saw something like this with Matthew and Ian where the viewers fell in love more with Matt because of the edit; however, and you have to face this, the sexual chemistry was always there with Ian going back almost to the beginning with their early 1-1 date in the hammock.
We simply don't see that in the storyline with Jesse. The sexual chemistry was with Graham.
They have not built Jesse's storyline sufficiently to overcome or even begin to compete with what they built in their F2, Jason.
This is very, very poor editing or something else happened.

I normally read the boards when the show airs and dont watch the tape for a couple of days but something tells me to watch and I caught all that and I say he won. Nough said.
