You know what? It is pretty off for some of the viewers and Fort members as well.

Pardon me while I channel my inner Ron here but:

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing. Heck, we at Fort are so good at measuring shadows and trees, why did some many miss the boat on De's true character?

Personality can open doors, but only character can keep them open. Except in entertainment business where it doesn't matter.


One can acquire everything in solitude - except character. Maybe that is why De gave Jeremy the FS card?

And my favorite: When they discover the center of the universe, a lot of people will be disappointed to discover they are not it. Keep Stephen Hawkins away from De! I imagine she will be more than disappointed - She.Will.Be.Heartbroken.

This woman is a piece of work. Not only does she dump all over a very decent man (Graham) b/c he won't play the love game by her rules but she also leads Jeremy on even though she knew he wasn't going to be one of the F2. The number of times she has been caught in lies on this show is unbelievable. And still people defend her. I don't get it.

Excellent post. ITA. Brad made a very wise decision at the end of his season.
Graham did not tell her what she wanted to hear so she attacked, her usual m.o.p. Jeremy in time will come to realize he to dodged a bullet. Time will tell where this alleged LOVE story ends.

That being said, just because I sympathized with her does not mean I think she has an honorable character, at least when it comes to relationships. She is so all over the place about what she looks for, that it definitely doesn't stick with her decision to not lead anyone on.

What she did to Jeremy was terrible. Her lack of respect or consideration of Graham's emotions was undeniable. I truly hope Jason is not her F1 because he needs to continue making his son #1 and not waste his time trying to make Deanna his priortiy. She has already made herself her own priority, and that seems to be more than enough ego for the television screen to handle.

I saw this side of her immediately with Brad. Most seemed to think it was wonderful that she was a strong woman. I thought she had quite an edge myself and wasn't someone I'd like to know. I still feel the same way and Jeremy seems to recognize that side of her too. She is a beautiful woman and the camera loves her, but sophisticated she is not. They tried to make her into something that she isn't by putting bachelors who are out of her element in front of her. When all is said and done, I think that Jesse is the one she feels most comfortable with. If you can trust someone to carry you piggyback down hill on a snow board that's trusting him with your life.

I think that we are also seeing a real love story between Jason and De. But it is a total fantasy and Jason will be hurt or regret his decision. Will she appreciate him in the long run?

Jeremy admitted to her that he didn't expect her to be perfect, but felt she was perfect for him. He knew she had to be front and center of his universe which is why he is suggesting Jesse as F1. He escaped with his life.

Been away so my long thought post is a little late



1) First off, so glad she chose someone! Nice little fliess trick to keep us hooked there

2)I just watched the ABC interview, to me it didnt look like a leaning towards either Jason on Jesse, just simple psychology. When someone asks you a question on something first, at the joy of the new question you will talk a bit more. When they ask you an add on to that question and phrase it with a different person or thing they will respond with less deatil etc because they are tiring of the question. The News lady asked her about Jesse first.

3)The whole Jeremy knocking on Dee's door, he looks like hes in the same clothes from the limo, i think its him asking Dee to reconsider him not Jesse's reveal.If something was revealed about Jesse's GF it would be much more dramatic.

4)Is it just me or is Jesse loosing himself to Dee? he seems to be changing waaaay too much to be her man. Yes, hes smitten but Dee doesnt seem to be the type of gal that likes that. She loves Jesse and Jason for their Independent qualities and Jesse is loosing that. Plus hes had a trim which i figured was more to impress the dad. Jesse seems to be telling her what she wants, not because he isnt genuine but because hes desperate.

5)How bitchy was Dee? I think she was sick of being judged a little and took it out the guys. To be fair on her some of the guys were being planks. Cough...Graham...Ron...Ryan... Cough.

6)Some the guys were looking sharp on the night. Twilley looks amazing with long hair and Sean looked Dashing in black. I also saw a twinkle in Richard that made me think he was hot hotweeks back. Jeremy also looked so in love with Dee still it mad me want to hug him and introduce him to my hot single lawyer friend...Nice viewing!


7)Personally I think (and want) her to choose Jason. Jesse, like Graham is a wild card, she is more at risk of him saying no. She has seen Jason open up to her and ask her to do the same, remember the star ty and the mother conversation? She does fall for Jesse's wild ways but i can see her a) being pissed hes softening b) seeing a future thats not too concrete with him.


8)Anyone notice Chris Harrison talk about her chosen then say Jason with force then say 'and Jesse' almost as an afterthought? May just be me...hmmm.

Losing on this show does not seem to have hurt any of the bachelor's or bachelorette's chances in the long run. As all of the others who've preceeded them, either Jason or Jesse will do fine even though they initially may feel that they "were led on" or that their "heart is breaking".

Yeah, but he wouldn't even kiss her once at the racetrack. I think that was the beginning of the end. Not only did he have a hard time speaking up, but he even held back the action that one time. It was his right to hold back on that, but it was one of those "can't turn back" moments. Chris Harrison made me laugh out loud with his comment about that at the MTA.

Voila! Here we have a season where, from the get-go, there have been mentions of Trista & Ryan... A LOT! An interview with Trista, saying Deanna asked her for advice... the insertion of "The Bachelor's 1st Family" during the Deanna Tells All...

Now sprinkle in some references to fairytale endings... I want to be her Prince Charming... Sleepless in Seattle...

From the beginning, they have been setting us up for another fairytale story. They have painted Jason as 'the whole package'; someone Deanna knows is a great father who loves kids. At the end of the MTA, we hear Jason speaking in his FRC suit and I believe they're more clips of the speech where we got the Prince Charming line. He says that he wants to treat Deanna the way she deserves to be treated.

This season was supposed to be their 'redeemer' season. They miserably tried that last season and it backfired on them. IF they set us up and Jason is not F1, then I'll have a big problem with that. NOT because Deanna chose Jesse b/c she's got to choose the guy best suited for her, but because I'm tired of being played.

So I'm choosing to believe they edited this season to show us the guy the majority of us wanting to win, win. The majority of us want to see Deanna get her fairytale ending with a guy we see treating her well. Based on everything they've shown (and even if we discount the Jesse g/f rumors), it's got to be Jason.

Jesse = free-spirit though not quite so settled
Jason = stability and family

& he has treated her the way she wants! Each Episode....TPTB & Deanna in the editing & words spoken by her has continually built up Jason beyond anything to now making it sound like he's everything she could want. Bach 12...coming out of the chute....we immediately heard from Matt how Amanda was the ideal woman. Okay....she got good edit other than the prank & DB comment & Matt didn't quite gush out as many compliments about Amanda like we are definately seeing about Jason. This time around they're playing up Jason bigtime. I'm in agreement here....I'll be tired of being played if it ends up being Jesse.
