However, I will say that during that season no one really got a F1 edit like Jason is and like Shayne did. Perhaps it is due to the new "editing team"... I don't know.

Over that past few seasons, the F1 has become more and more apparent through the editing, IMO. Perhaps Fleiss has grown tired of ticking his audience off with "surprise" F1s, but probably not. While I was a big Bevin supporter, I could easily tell from Tessa's edit that she was F1. I think Shayne was obvious from very early on last season. And, I think thus far, Jason is hands down getting the F1 edit.

ETA: I don't think her edit on this show is necessarily that much different that on TB, but we are just allowed to see and understand her personality a little more. Many of her supporters this time around were not necessary fans of her during TB, but now that we are shown a little more of why she is who she is, people are much more accepting. She was shown as a no-nonsense type of gal during TB, much like she is during this season.

I have to agree with you, Jason is receiving the F1 edit. I knew from Matts season that Chelsea wasn't the F1 from the editing she was getting. They were showing Chelsea on too many arguments with the other girls and talking behind some of the girls back. But they never showed Shayne in anything like that as a matter of fact Shayne was the one that tried to stop the argument between Chelsea and Marshana.

What I was less apt to accept from others was that DeAnna was a bully. I never saw that at all. In her last date with Brad, she informed him that she did not want to wake up in the middle of the night and fall into the toilet because the lid had been left up ( neither do I ) and that she should be the one that decides where the things go in the kitchen. ( Who does the cooking? That is the one who decides where everything should be placed so that he/she knows where it is. We knew she liked to cook.)

From those two things she was accused as being controlling. I would agree she liked to control those things in her immediate life (the toilet and the kitchen).

I see it like you, he said DeAnna was a good kisser, the date wasn't much to write home about. I think he did not want the attention and to be the hated man in the house. He wanted to keep the date and his feelings private. They asked him these questions, he didnt' come home bragging.

That's how I saw it too. It didn't seem like bragging to me. He was just answering their questions. Maybe he didn't feel confident enough to stand up to them and say, "Out of respect for DeAnna, I'd rather not discuss this with you." JMO

I must say, it's one thing that I admired about Jeremy. When they asked him if he kissed her and "was it a fireside kiss", etc. he didn't share the information with them, but rather found a polite and respectful way of letting them know he's not going to tell. If they were going to try to make us think Jeremy shared that with the guys, they should have edited out the part where he says he doesn't share that kind of information. For him to say that and then the next thing is him saying, "Yes" (meaning it was a good kiss or whatever) didn't make sense. He's a true gentleman so I don't think he shared anything with them.

Even a simple, "Yeah, it was good," said in a normal voice would have probably sufficed. It might not have satisfied their curiosity, but it would have satisfied their need to be answered, and it would have answered the question in a fairly non-commital manner - neither too negatively nor in too much of a "kiss and tell" way.

Again, JMO and a different way of looking at an edit. What strikes everyone when you see it in one lump? Lynn, I’m curious your BLF take on Graham when his edit is pulled together. He’s shown pensive, head down, standing apart, seething, and panicked more than he’s shown being the “funny guy.” Does the consistent head bowing indicate lack of self-confidence, bashfulness, or has he lost something on the ground? If anyone wants to write up a similar format for the other guys, go for it!

I wonder if that voice over is coming from the HTD. Some people believe that he asks to leave, or leaves on his own. I'm not so sure that I believe that but the voice over kind of makes it sound like he does do that and I can't think of anything else that happens where he'd rather be digging his own grave.

You've probably read my observations of Graham over in the BLF thread but, essentially, he comes across as very guarded, protecting himself, uncomfortable, awkward, shy and not quite as invested in DeAnna as she is in him at this point.
