Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** WOW! There are so many amazing posts in here! I bow to you all! ![]() I'm in the middle of addressing those posts, but first I wanted to back up something that Bloomers mentioned. Really, the key to analyzing the edit for a show such as this one or Survivor is to look at what’s being shown from a completely unbiased standpoint. Now, granted, that’s not always easy to do if one is emotionally invested in a certain character, but if you can, in a sense, separate yourself from all the players, the stories that are being told become more clear. Part of the analysis is taking into consideration all the external information as well, be it SC, firsthand accounts, rumors, whatever you choose to ingest. FWIW, when analyzing Survivor, I was part of a small contingent of “purists” for lack of better word. When a season started, I went on a media blackout and stuck only to the board (which was spoiler free), the transcript, and SC. In truth, that was good training for edit analysis because it forces you to think outside the box. What you guys have here is a virtual Pandora’s Box of information from a variety of sources and some incredibly hard-sought spoilers that offer up a great launching point for edit analysis. And all of it should be taken into consideration. When analyzing the Bachelorette, my MO is the same as for Survivor: 1. Nothing is as it appears to be. 2. Every little thing no matter how significant or insignificant means something—one way or another. 3. All character arcs are being manipulated to tell a very specific story. If one approaches the edit from an unbiased point of view, winners, losers, and everything in between start to emerge. And as Bloomers mentioned, that’s the fun in trying to sleuth out the show! ![]()

| Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** In the present edit - we are being shown that D has feelings for Graham - but we forget that we have also been shown that she has feelings for a couple of others as well - real feelings - tho different with each of the three - by her own words at the DTA. I have no doubt that she may have wanted to explore more with Graham - but with her quest at hand - and the way the show goes - she really had no choice but to let Graham leave - wether on his own or by her hand. That leaves room for the real F1 to be explored further by D - and I do think the edit shows that the Jeremy connection - is waning.

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** Okay, I'm out of touch here cuz I have been out of town a few days and I know we are past last week's episode, but I am curious as to why Robert's and Fred's luggage was at the outhouse when they were staying at the mansion. Ideas anyone????? Also, I want to say, I really still like Jesse and Graham (not for DeAnna, but for myself), and I know they are not everyone's thing, but then I have always had the BAD BOY syndrome, which is why I don't even date any more, because I am a complete retard magnet!!!

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** Several things stood out to me last night...(paraphrasing) 1. De said something like "While he was cooling down, three men jumped ahead of him. 2. After Jason said something about her and Graham's connection, Twilley said, "But they have issues." Could these be foreshadowing and giving heads up so the veiwing public has warning that Graham is leaving?

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** Don't think the first comment was about Graham, it occured shortly after Sean talked about being slow out of the gate, etc. and I think she actually said "playing it cool"

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** I am so emotionally involved in this show,,first time post,,didn't even get my whole user name typed in,,should be hopeless romantic. I LOVE reading all of this, hats off to PiPer and Bloomers,,,also love Lynns BLF thread. I am a student,OLD, of watching people and listening just to see if body language and what they are saying match up. First of all,Jesse doesn't even come close and Deanna is too smart not to catch this. The other thing ,did anyone notice that Jason got the rose closest to Deanna last night. Jeremy got the second rose in,,and then Jason actually got the first rose on the plate. I found it odd that she wouldn't have just reached down and started from the closest,,maybe edited that way?
