Now I'm thinking it's Jason again too. After that posting from OCDBachelorette. Her hand is in like a light fist like she is holding something in it, then it's pointed out how at first she's not wearing a necklace and then with the same cap of the blurred hand, you notice that her neck area is also blurred. As though she is wearing a necklace...

I missed a number of the shows after the first one - I was out of town and just couldn't get to a TV on Mondays. I came to FORT to find what I had missed, and was distressed to read a rumor that she chooses Jason and they break up almost immediately.

But - what if that rumor was true all along? Could there be TWO endings to this season - one where she chooses Jason and because of the immediate break up they shoot a second ending where she chooses Jesse?

DeAnna's answer as to what happens has, for a long time, been "Im happy with the outcome". It could be that EVERYONE is happy with the outcome, though everyone has heartbreak also. DeAnna and Jason could have had their chance as soul mates, and while I don't believe that "Jason dumps her" because that is not how I think Jason would handle such a situation, I do believe they could have jointly reached that difficult conclusion and - for Ty's sake - ended it before Ty would be affected.

It was definitely not a reshoot.

What I find interesting is when you turn back time to Trista/Ryan - there wasn't this edit-crucification - they always kept Trista looking poised and thoughtful - the guys looking as if they were getting along - and they did it tastefully - no "overnight" sleep in my mansion, no "coneiving," - - at least none that was apparent. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that TPTB manipulate the situation behind the cameras - ie., how did Robert learn that DeA picked her final four during the rage show??? Who said that? Another bachelor or someone on staff? And.... could someone on staff just get 'friendly' mention a "few things" just to start a rumor mill, stir the pot and get better footage??? I think quality of editing started slipping many seasons ago.

I would hope TPTB did not influence her in any way - you just don't play with people's hearts like that! I hope DeA found her soulmate - otherwise - it will be another story that slinked off and fell a part and thousands of people will no longer be ABC enthusiasts. Remember, tears, anger, cat-fights, raw emotions sell and get big ratings and that is what Fleiss is commissioned to do - - get BIG ratings or ABC will boot him to a curb too.

Quite frankly - I see nothing wrong with showing an unfolding love story and setting a stage to make it possible for them to be successful.

On a side note to above - - you watched Trista/Ryan fall in love -- - then, edit changed. During the bachelorette party - they brought strippers in to sit on Ryan's lap and try to get him to 'cheat on Trista' in front of the cameras. I can assure you those girls were told to do that while the cameras followed. How much interesting footage could you get if not to do this? "Will this break their engagement? Will there be a wedding?" - -- ratings... it is all about the ratings.

To me - covering the cost of the wedding and their honeymoon - was probably the promise to them that they will do this as long as they can do what they want to manipulate and edit the finale.

As far as we're thinking about parallel's to Trista/Ryan, Trista said in her FD with Ryan: "He brings out a different side of me" (paraphrased)

De's said many times that her experience with Jason, and with Jason & Ty together, have made her a "different person".

The B'ette: Why did Fleiss leave these scenes in the episodes and even seem to highlight some of them??
1. The BBQ tantrum.
2. The Graham tantrum at F4.
3. Intro at MTA where CH mentions "lot of respect in the room." (There's more but it's all been discussed in its own thread.)

I am not bashing anyone here (well...maybe Fleiss) but simply can't understand why he would not go out of his way to show Deanna in the best possible light. Why? (I want answers, Fleiss! )

If I were Deanna, I would be unhappy with how I was portrayed.

One word - RATINGS. If he doesn't secure ratings he is out of a job with ABC. By these edits - he can keep the D' haters on board and those who love her both fully invested.

She also said she 'finally found what she has always been looking for' - when referencing Jason - - the question is...how much is VO and who was she really speaking about.

What I believe is true - she learned a lot about herself - in particular the kind of man she is normally attracted to - and the kind of man she never thought she'd fall in love with. I'm sure stepmom was never on her radar screen - - nor a divorcee - - but, I think she learned something about what love really is - the fact that Jason is a great dad (inspite of those who feel he isn't) and the fact that it seemed as if his divorce was at the hands of his ex and not by his own doing - then, it would seem certain to me - that he became a contender.

Remember - they had several days in the mansion - and several long nights - - a lot can be learned and talked about during that time - If Jesse was chosen, I will give it only a few months until the novelty wears off and until she can no longer deny the longing she has for Jason & his family. Then, I will bet she will got to find them... and win their hearts.
