Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS**

I would like to share some observations from the show last night. The interesting thing is that these come from my DH and sons (17 & 13) Yeah, they must have been REALLY bored but I'm just lovin the fact that they actually don't mind spending time with me! Anyway, right off the bat the DH sees the shot of Jeremy after Jesse's song or declaration as winner and says "Oh, he's pisssed" and the boys chime in "yeah, he's throwing some daggers there". The 13 yr. old (E) commented that Graham is shy and Jason will be F1. When I asked what made him feel that way about Jason his reply was something like "Mom he gets what it takes having been married and has a son." (OK just a quick pause while mom is thankful that he would be drawn to Jason instead of some of the others as a role model.) As the show goes on the 17 yr. old (S) felt that Robert had to much to drink (grateful mom again) and he acted like a jerk - his words. Before the 2-1 date they felt Robert, Brian and Graham would be leaving. They liked Fred. DH came walking past a few times (more interested in playing PS3) and still felt that Jeremy was still not happy with the other guys. All three know that there is a website about the show, but have no idea what all it contains. I only asked them general questions during the show and only let them know that two guys will leave next week. Based on what they have seen they feel Twilley and Graham will go next week. I had wanted to post after the show but we had some BAD storms and had to turn the computer off. I just thought it was interesting coming from them. Would love to hear what ya'll think about my guys comments.

You're a lucky mom and wife! Just don't let them go on the Bachelor...Very astute young men...you should be very proud.

Thanks The 13 yr. old (E) will watch again next week for sure. Big brother is looking for a summer job so maybe he will be working.

I almost forgot - during the pre RC alone time with Graham (E) stated that he was saved by the "insurance kiss". I thought that was so funny the way he worded it. I'm starting to wonder if he has been reading this website.

What I think was the biggest "money shot" (as Piper would say).....

when Deanna mentioned her mom, and Sean basically ignored it. It was blatant, and everyone I was watching with picked it up right away. Sean ignored it....Jason got it right. Our winner??

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS**

Luvmyboys, those are a trio of VERY smart men you’ve got there! It’s just so interesting from a male point of view, isn’t it? They seem to glean different insight from everything and I find that fascinating. I just love your youngest’s comment that Jason “gets what it takes having been married and has a son.” Smart child that one. Well done you!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Transcribing full time would likely put one in the looney bin! I’m getting close to half-way done on this ep transcription. Dayum there’s a lot of dialog. And a ton of choppy editing. And the songs. OMG. God bless poor Brian. A lovely man. But it took me half the night to stop laughing over “House of My Pain.” Seriously. It’s better than a blast of helium up your knickers.

A few things sticking in my gullet. This ep was edited to be very tense in its construction. When hitting the actual words its really quite nerve wracking. I’m just coming up on transcribing the bbq scene, but what bothers me is that the event is actually quite a shrewd move. I would very much like to know who REALLY came up with that idea. Jeremy was shown talking about it, but what didn’t we see? I’m very suspicious of Jesse. Sounds like a suggestion he’d toss out there and gleefully watch as all hell broke loose. I mean he’s got two of his main competitors in the Outhouse (Graham and Jeremy), but a major threat in the mansion (Jason). What better way to sabotage potential alone time with D? I wouldn’t put it past Jeremy either mind you, but it’s curious. It also came across to me as the possible source of Robert’s meltdown. Bobby boy finally gets to the big house only to have to turn around and go back to the Outhouse not only to cook, but to fight for D’s attention. Someone made a shrewd move in pulling this thing off. Although, one could argue that it backfires when Jason get her all to himself.

Also, the double date dump could’ve entirely been coincidence, but I’m not 100 percent sold. If D’s intent was indeed to have Jason alone in the mansion, this was also a very shrewd bit of gameplay. In Survivor terms, she could’ve thrown the immunity challenge.

Hi Nutty! I just now finished transcribing that bit. My note on that: Sean pulled a major faux pas not asking about her mother. Although who knows if he did and it was edited out because Jason got that airtime and they didn’t want D to sound repetitive. Jeremy too might’ve mentioned it but they chose only to show Jason’s version. If that’s the case, then I would agree with you that it’s highly significant and IMHO runs high on the potential winner meter. D’s mom is important to her. Only Jason’s been shown as astute enough to have picked that up.

In my experience, a lot of people just aren’t comfortable discussing death, so it could well be that Jason was the only one who asked. Yet Jeremy knows what it’s like losing a parent, so it will be curious to see if it comes up again with he and D during alone time. What I find utterly baffling and admittedly somewhat horrifying is D’s saying that no one she’s ever dated has ever asked about her mother. Now that’s astonishing.

Oh. And for the record. Transcribing Jesse is pure hell. I swear in another life the guy was a Valley Girl. The dude says “like” and “you know” like a million times a sentence.

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS**

Piper and Bloomers
Thanks to you two I am watching much more closely....and I noticed something that perhaps you can explain.

While watching DeJay's snuggling and kissing on the ?patio bed (what was that thing called they were on)...all of a sudden there was a shot interspersed of a full moon!!! Now normally I would never have even noticed this, I would have just been swooning over the emotional connection that DeJay were having...but this time I did notice it! To me I wondered if it was to enhance the romance, as in the whole Star Gazing theme....and then I thought...hmmm....full moons, can bring out the worst in people. Being an ER nurse I know we have more patients etc then, so it could be two fold to explain DeDe's meltdown as well, and her emotions all over the place after the 2on1 date as well. Just wondering, because I have probably never noticed a shot like that in the past....what does a full moon in a shot like that really represent. I am assuming romance. And is that considered a Money Shot? Thanks...waiting with baited breath for the transription!!!! Loving this thread along, with the BLF thread. My 2 favs along with Jason's!
