Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** I was shocked with the 1-on-1 with Sean and Dee, and Dee mentioned something about her mom and her living in Kentucky and Sean didn't even bother to con't the conversation and ask Dee about her mom. It seemed as though she had that facial expression on "asking me about my mom" Sean said something about Bluegrass and himself......BIG NO NO

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** Not sure if this is the correct place to post this....just point me in the right direction if it's not. I've been lurking for a few weeks, so I finally got up the nerve to register. I've been reading your analysis and specualtions, and I have to say I'm super impressed with your sleuthing skills. I never would have thought to look into things as deeply as some of you do. While it might take a little of the thrill away from watching it and guessing who the final one or two are...I'm hooked! I'm not a huge fan of the Bachelorette herself, tho I think she's doing a fine job. I can't imagine how difficult it is to have to decide between all the fine specimens she's been handed. My God that Graham is delightful to look at and I just melt when he talks that cute little North Carolina accent! Sean's eyes are mesmerizing. Thank God he got a hair cut! Jeremy reminds me of my niece's fiance, so I can't look at him like I do the others. That would be icky. And Jason seems too good to be true. I know that I read somewhere that Graham left of his own free will. Where might I find that again, and how is it known for sure? I would really love to see him be the final one.

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** french dip, you would probably enjoy posting on Graham's thread. It is not a fan thread as we are not allowed to have those here, but you will find that the majority of his fans will be posting there, so you will most likely have lots of fun on his thread. ![]() We are pretty sure that Graham is going to leave at F4 because we have a screencap for a hometown date for him, but we do not have a screen cap for a Fantasy Date for him whereas we do have screencaps for Fantasy Dates for three other Bachelors. Also, Graham has a close friend who posted with us and who told us that her family saw him when he came home. The date was May 3rd I believe. Anyway, we later were able to pinpoint the dates of scheduling and knew that the show had not finished filming at the time that he was at home, so that confirmed for us that he was not the F1 because he was at home instead on on the set filming. We would enjoy having you discuss the editing of the show with us if you have something to say! It will take Piper a while to transcribe the show, and then this thread will start hopping. ![]()

Re: Behind the Edit **SPOILERS** Hiya! I so much wanted to post yesterday to thank everyone for cluing me in as to D’s previous edit, but I could never get logged on! A few loose thoughts on just watching. Dayum, that song singing and the bbq outburst and 2-1 date were just flat painful IMHO! So just a few initial notes I made during the ep: Fred, Twilley, Robert, and Brian have accelerated face time. Not a good sign for any of them. One-ep wonders. Brian’s house of pain song. Could possibly be a painful night for him.Brian saying that “we’re losing our chef, our comic relief, and Jason.” Big foreshadow, but interesting. Jason isn’t categorized as anything in particular. Methinks this red flag applies to Robert and Fred. Jason escapes being stereotyped in this ep and therefore is edited as more of an individual. Jesse: Hopefully I can be that guy she wants to be with. Interesting how she confesses he’s not her type yet still drawn to him. D saying she’s “not trying to change Jesse” but wanting to find out if he’s husband material. Interesting dichotomy with her squabbles with Graham and the effort she puts into him. You almost get the feeling she’s trying to change him in a sense by working so hard to drag everything out of him. Dissecting Jesse’s song will be interesting, particularly the “Please don’t send me away. I’ll cry on the plane.” ![]() D asking if Jesse has ever cheated on an ex-girlfriend. What about a current one? ![]() Jesse’s pitch for the rose sounded to me like a sales pitch. And the face D initially made was interesting. ![]() Jeremy: With DeAnna I’ll go to hell and back. Nice big ol’ honkin’ red flag for Jeremy. Funny when combined with last ep’s mentions of Jesse as the devil. Sean: “Bury me now. Dig my grave. Cuz I’m a happy man.” That’s his second reference to his grave (assuming he was one who said it during the songwriting). More importantly, he missed an opportunity to ask her about her mom. (insert shaking head emote) D: When I’m with Jesse I feel like I’m the only woman in the world. (Something to that effect.) This could bode well for Jesse’s longevity. Sean = DEAD.MAN.WALKING when he said D was his wife. Jeremy: I’m not gonna sit back and let someone else take my spot. (Another red flag. Does somebody indeed do just that or have they already?) More Jeremy bashing. The comment that he’s acting like she’s already his wife follows suit with his Velcro-like behavior in ep three. Also, they continue to focus on his being overly competitive, which is a curious mirror to D’s mentioning last ep that Jesse’s always winning the competitions. They’re holding back on Jesse’s edit a bit and putting Jeremy out there instead. Slow and steady wins the race. Again, D reiterates the Graham attraction. Interesting flash to Jason when D walks off with Graham. Even more intriguing was Jason’s confession that he was falling in love with D. But Jason tagged it—that it seems to be okay that Graham is in a different place than all the other guys. That could well be why the other guys keep mentioning him as frontrunner. D saying “you’re going to kiss me now.” Why the hell does she have to keep pushing him? (Insert Florence Nightingale emote.) The key is that D says she’s afraid of getting hurt by Graham. Big red flag. Both Graham racetrack convos were bad. AWKWARD. Ha! The tortoise and the hare analogy is another red flag. Slow and steady wins the race. Robert: DeAnna’s not the kind of girl who’s going to kiss two guys in one night. Red flag that he ain’t gonna get the smooch. ![]() If it’s a recipe for love I feel okay. FRED = DEAD.MAN.WALKING. Many more shots of Jason watching her. Interesting comment about his tracking her body language. Jason’s really working it from an individual perspective. Also his thinking that he’s in jeopardy. Very interesting. Jason’s getting into the game. Let’s see how his strategy plays out. Brian: I’m on the outside looking in. Oh dear. He could be DEAD.MAN.WALKING Twilley: I feel like I could be going home. Oh dear. NOT TWILLEY! Jesse’s still consistently keeping close contact with Jeremy and very aware of Jason and Graham. Mr. Calculation. Brian content hanging out with the other guys. Not a good sign, especially coupled with her previously saying he’s always talking about the other guys. Sean reverting back to his old ways. Robert alone. And then bang… more Graham freakage. And still more reference to Jeremy and Graham being the frontrunners. When D says “you’re all breaking my heart” the camera stays on Jason. Interesting that Graham feels a lot of it was directed at him. And Jeremy mentioning that a few of the guys likely prompted the outburst. And through it all there’s poor Fred standing there in the chef hat! Group hug for Fred. Robert saying he was disappointed that there was no helicopter, and his further explanation about taking his ex-fiance to Vegas and a helicopter ride almost seemed to bring Jason into the room. ROBERT = DEAD.MAN.WALKING. D: “I had to give Robert the dodge.” What’s really weird is that she tells Robert that she didn’t wanna pull anything out of him or chase him down during the bbq, yet that’s precisely what she gives Graham a pass on. ![]() Graham and Jesse thinking the 2-1 date is miserable. I have to admit, D seemed a bit angry during the entire date. Brian mentioning that Robert focusing strictly on himself hurts all the guys. Even more intriguing was as the convo progressed, I think it was Graham said that he can’t see D spending the rest of her life with a guy like that. Funny how much stuff always circles back to Graham.D saying that to find her perfect husband she needs to make the tough decisions. I had to laugh…behind where D was sitting on the date were four crosses that looked like headstone markers. ![]() Credit to D for not wanting to lead anyone on. But dayum. Poor Fred. So sweet. Let’s all have a Fred clone. He’s a class act. Jesse: Freddie was stuck in the friend zone and that’s why he’s going home. (Big red flag. Could the same fate befall Jesse?) A lot of pensive shots of Graham. Reaction shots of Jason. And Jesse still networking. Graham absolutely not happy with Jason being in the mansion. Jason is shown being an excellent sounding board when she comes home upset, and she “wouldn’t have wanted to be with anyone else.” Jason: Tonight’s a nice night. It’s so clear.” There’s a big ol’ red flag. Add that to Jason’s professing how he showed he was a good partner. At the cocktail party and reward challenge, Twilley looks like he’s thinking he’s going home. Yet another Jeremy 1-1. Interesting, that she tells him that he’s one of the people who’s always hanging out with her. She likes it, but it could be a foreshadow that she could succumb to his potential possessiveness/cling factor. VELCROMAN LIVES! ![]() Jason, Jesse, and Graham (in his roundabout way) profess jealously. That’s a bit of a kink in Jason’s stellar edit, eh? There’s Jesse again, stirring the pot with the guys. Oooooo Brian’s holding her hands. Such an instigator, dude. Interesting that when Jesse asks, Jason calls Twilley going home. BAD NEWS. Jason may have had some insight into an upcoming boot. Seems like Graham two eps in a row seems to be making the last dash effort at to ensure his staying. If this show was four months long, he might make significant headway, but still IMHO this guy ain’t no speed dater. Very intimate kiss there. Nice save, dude. ![]() Seriously. Who dressed CH? Blue shirt with a tie that looks like my great-great-great-grandmother’s curtains. ![]() At the RC when CH said “you have nothing to worry about” the camera went to Graham. D’s “putting your hearts on the line for me,” camera goes to Jason. When she called Jason for the rose, camera immediately went to Jeremy and Graham. Rose order: Jason, Jeremy, Twilley, Graham. Nice way to scare the hell out of Graham. Oh, Lordy. In the previews. Looks like Twilley’s last stand. THUD. Okay, going to read back the thread. Dunno how soon I’ll get a transcript up. That last one took over twelve hours, and this one is loaded. ![]()

Kaching! ITA. The edit just keeps going down that road. Couldn’t have said it any better than that. ![]() Quote:
His exact words were: “What a nightmare situation for that guy. Hasn’t he ever dated before?” LOL.Quote:
Jason has a psych degree? That would ‘splain a lot. Certainly doesn’t hurt in regard to his being a great listener. And would backup his observations of her body language. And ITA about his subtle competitiveness. The guy does have game, but he’s taking a much different tact than the others. I’d really wonder if Sean did ask about her mother and they chose not to show it because it would be repeating what she said to Jason. For all we know, Jeremy asked her about it first. If they chose to only show it with Jason, that’s highly significant IMHO. Bloomers! We’re on the same page again. The plot thickens…She's "not trying to change Jesse", so she sends him that formal suit and the other guys had to help him finish getting dressed. She wants to see "if he can fit in her world." Doubt cast on his edit right off the bat. – Bloomers I addressed this one earlier. I expected to hear Hank Williams singing 'Your cheatin' heart will tell on you...' in the background. Boy-heidi, is she going to be mad when she finds out that not only has he been cheating, but he flat out lied to her at her wonderful concert date as well. – Bloomers What a hustler! I have never seen any Bachelor or any bachelorette do that on any series. I half way expected her to deny him on principle. Jesse is a schemer. I think that was part of his plan for the evening. – Bloomers Bingo! Still coming off as supremely calculating to me as well. Even more interesting is that they didn’t kiss. Methinks the friend theme could figure heavily into Jesse’s edit until he lasts by default or does something spectacular to win her over. The fact she’s so intrigued by him is significant, but I’m not seeing the chemistry as yet. I’m still getting player out of Jesse. Interesting that when Jesse asks, Jason calls Twilley going home. BAD NEWS. Jason may have had some insight into an upcoming boot. That was strange. He said it so quickly like he was sure of it. Since it didn't happen, I don't understand why that was in the edit. – Bloomers It did seem as if Jason had insight and that was odd. It’s likely a foreshadow of poor Twilley’s demise, otherwise why leave it in? And Secret. Great catch on the wilted flowers! Couple that with those crosses during the 2-1 date and things were looking rather gloomy! ![]() | |||
