I hate to say it but it looks more like the latter. There are a kazillion caps of Jeremy and DeAnna but I'll pick this one even though it's not the one that I mean. It looks like a romantic kiss, sunset, tropical location but, there is a distance between them during the kiss. If this is a fantasy date then I would expect to see more closeness because they have known each other longer. If you watch the actual scene the distance is more apparent. Plus, she just casually has her arms at his waist. He has her face in his hands while he is kissing her. It kind of reads like she's making him keep a respectable distance. Hard to explain. Jeremy could be reading as more into DeAnna than the other way around.

I actually know exactly what you mean. I got a similar impression in looking at the pic of them in the pool that most people think is the Sinatra house date. It could be the angle of the shot, but it sort of looks like Jeremy is leaning into the kiss more than she is.

I'll try to add caps. In the one with Jesse she has a fisted hand. In the one with Jeremy she has her arms wrapped around him and her hand is open. Now, before I continue, I have also seen her hug Jason like this too (fisted hand-once). This could be a mannerism of hers but a fisted hand hug doesn't read as genuine as an all out wrap your arms around somebody hug. Can't get close enough, misses the person (affectionate). Now, having said all of that you also have to look at the expression on her face. With Jesse it reads more like a fun smile. Like she has fun with him. With Jeremy her expression reads as affectionate and happy. With Jason her expression is pure bliss.

I recently saw a youtube reliving moments with Dee, and I think at one of the ceremonies where she was nervous and her name was called for a rose by Brad, as soon as her name was called she clutched her hand in fist form to her heart. Normally, I would have a flat hand over my heart, but as I recall she clutched her fist. I will try and find it to be sure, but it could be that she makes a fist as a body mannerism for something special.

That's an interesting observation; the fist being something special. It kind of goes against how that would generally be read but I'll definitely be looking for that just in case. It would be really interesting if you were able to find out if she did the fist thing with Brad. I don't remember her doing that.

Doesn't it depend on how far you wrap your arms around someone? If I hug someone and have my hands somewhere on his/her back, my hand is flat. When I hug someone as tight as DeAnna hugs Jason in that pic with my arms around his neck, I noticed I make a fist too...
Looking at that picture, it would almost look weird if her hand was flat...

I think you're right. It also depends on the emotion you are feeling. In that particular picture, it tells me that she wants to hold him TIGHT.

This will definitely be an interesting season...thankfully! I don't think I could stomach another season like we just got through.

That's true and it's why you have to also look at the expression on her face while she is hugging each of the men to try to read the overall picture.

With Jesse her smile is more casual, friendly, fun, and even her fist looks more likes she's holding on for dear life. Not exactly like that but similar; less than holding on for dear life. They are deep in the ocean so who knows what the current is like, or the stability of holding each other that deep in the water. It almost looks like he might be getting reading to dunk her under water with him...if that makes sense.

With Jeremy they are on land hugging and her facial expression is genuine happiness and comfortable. I'd say she really likes him alot and that if he isn't chosen, as it appears to be the case, then she must have stronger feelings for somebody else.

With Jason her fist is tight; you can see her nuckles. This is what I *would* call holding on for dear life. Combine that with the expression on her face of bliss and home, as another posted described it, and I think this has to be our F1. Of course, new screencaps and scenes could change this but there is no mistaking that expression on her face with Jason.
