Body, Lip and Facial Communication - Bachelorette 4 **SPOILERS**

My interpretation of the previews for tonight with regard to the greeting at the FRC.


As much as I want it to be Jason, this is what I saw: JESSE was the one that went in for the kiss on the cheek, not the lips. DeAnna seemed a little thrown off to me cause she looked back at him for a second. He I feel is just being cautious.

Then, when JASON and D shared a big hug and a kiss, he was just starting to get into it when she seemed to pull away from him. She ended it by backing away.

Did anyone else see this?

I agree. Imagine what a great show it would have been if alongside the Jason story the edit also had really developed a story about DeAnna's friendship with Jesse unexpectedly growing into romance and forcing DeAnna to rethink what she came in wanting and to make a hard choice. Yes, there were bits and pieces of this Jesse story thrown in there, but if it had been developed throughout (such as focusing on a strong friendship between them early on) and then placed in contrast with Jason it would have made a compelling story, I think.

EXACTLY what I am talking about. It would have been a wonderful show..... May the best man win! Show the final two as contenders -- focus on them equally, show them discussing what their life would be like..... and then let the choice be made. While I seriously doubt this could occur (who actually finds themselves deeply in love with two people at the same time, but that's another story).... They could at least PRETEND she is, so when the time comes for her to choose, we aren't blindsided and we don't feel cheated having been denied the story we tuned in to see.

It has occurred to me that the new editors might have made an attempt at making this a hidden romance type plot but being new at the game, blew it badly. Definitely a lot missing that should have been there

Is Fleiss or the editors ever going to realize that WE DON'T WANT A HIDDEN EDIT!! We want a LOVE STORY!!!!

I was seriously duped this time around, because I honestly thought that he finally figured it out, and that is what we were getting, but not so sure now.

Still holding on to hope that this is what we will get.....

That's what troubles me and that's why I have a hard time believing they are seriously in love and ready to commit. What does that look like? I have no idea, but carefree and "rad" comes to mind. I don't even have a problem with that! I just wish they would have treated the love story with a little more care because it doesn't seem logical to 75% of the people who are following the show that Deanna chooses Jesse. They never saw the love story. I know I didn't! This is a disservice to us and to the couple. If I was Jesse, I think I'd be big time upset about all of this.

As for as Jason goes, he has broken through that hard place coming out of a divorce and all that implies. I believe Jason is ready for a real love and rest assured, his phone will be ringing off the hook and people will be MOVING to Seattle to find him. He'll find his true love, long before Deanna does. Of this much, I am certain.

ITA! And I think it is probably more like 85% of America is going to be shocked tonight as they watch. When I heard the news I felt sucker punched. I just feel cheated. I don't care if they try to hide the F1 a little bit but don't keep him behind the curtain until the last scene, give me a fighting chance. I have no doubt what I saw between DeAnna and Jason is REAL but it seems she just decided to go with a different life, one that she herself failed to mention she was looking for.

Somewhere along watching this show I think I forgot the main character was DeAnna and found myself focusing on Jason. Wanting his fairy tale ending.

I guess I am just a hopeless romantic b/c no matter how many failed relationships there are from this series I still hold out hope that true love will happen again.

I don't think it is happening this time but if Jesse is what makes her happy then I am happy for her.
