Does anyone else think she knew in advance she was going to let him go and that is why she picked him for the 1 on 1 date?

The reason I think this is because there were 4 roses up for grabs last night, and if Richard had received one, that would have put 4 guys instead of 3 up in the mansion with her.

It could be that the only reason there was a rose up for grabs at the Ellen show is because she let Richard go. Otherwise, I don't think Ellen would have given one. JMO, but I don't think Deanna would have taken Richard on a 1 on 1 just to dump him. I think she was truly conflicted over the friend/boyfriend question with him.

The look on his face when she told him she couldn't give him the rose made my heart hurt a little bit for him. When he was talking about how you want to be close to a person and it hurts when they don't want to be close to you, I was yelling at my tv, "You can come over and be close to me!!!"
